Michael Jackson Moving To Bahrain

Pop superstar Michael Jackson has fallen in love with Bahrain after spending the summer in the Middle Eastern nation and now plans to make it his permanent home.

The King of Pop flew to Bahrain shortly after being acquitted of child molestation in a Santa Maria, California court and spent time there as a guest of the crown prince Sheik Salman Ibn Hamed Khalifa.

And, after months of speculation suggesting Jackson is planning to sell his Neverland home in California, and make Bahrain his official headquarters, attorney Thomas Mesereau confirms his client is making a life-changing move.
He says, “He’s moving on in life. He’s living permanently in Bahrain. He has friends there who have been very loyal and helpful to him in a difficult period of his life.” Mesereau, who represented Jackson in his child molestation trial, insists the Middle East has been a tonic for the King of Pop. He adds, “He looks really well.”

Interesting…
I wonder if it’s just because he loved the country or because he’s sure he won’t be sued time and again over there.
Anyway, I also wonder it we will detect any Arab influence in his future music. That would be really cool.

  1. m2k, I heard rumors about that too, but like k-pax, I don’t believe it. There was a time when he got closer to the organization “Black Nation of Islam” in an attempt to get their support for his trials, but I don’t think he has a genuine interest in Islam.

Anyway, I disagree with k-pax that Michael is artistically dead. Even though he’s not releasing albums full of hit songs like Thriller anymore, his recent albums haven’t been that bad. I personally really enjoyed many songs on his last studio album.
It’s just all his weirdness and negative media attention that is hurting him, and he’s not doing much to help.

As for koffiekitten, well I wouldn’t go as far as saying that he’s going to Bahrain to do whatever he was doing without getting into trouble for it, as there is no proof he was doing anything in the first place.
But I think he’s going there because he knows he won’t get people bringing up more of the same problems for him over there.

  2. I see what you mean.
But personally I don’t link Michael Jackson, the person, to Michael Jackson, the music.

Of course Thriller remains his best album, but forgetting about the person and what he chose to do with himself after that, his music remained very good and enjoyable.

Musically, Michael is a musical legend and a great entertainer.
On the personal level, I don’t really like him and disagree with his choices.

  3. Michael has finally begun the first step of reinvention, staying in America would have been pointless after constant harrassment from everyone.

I for one agree on arabic influences in his future music, he should really move away from the ballads though & concertrate on something more musical than vocal.

  4. My name is Monique Del Bosque. I am a fan of michael and have been for years!
I want to ask if michael is closing neverland is he going to be selling all of his paintings and sculptures and other personal belongings?
I had hopes and dreams of going there, and now that will never be. I have also sent mail to this address:

    Michael Jackson
    Neverland Valley Ranch
    5225 Figueroa Mountain Road
    Los Olivos, CA 92441 U.S.A.

I sent a 1/2 quarter karrat diamond ring (gold) and some letters that were just fanmail, some cologne, and several crosses and crucifixes to that address during the trial period. I have also tried to make arrangements with Ramone his publicist to meet in person and haven’t been able to get through as it has taken me many months, and attended a Janet Jackson concert on his behalf. I wonder if he is still accepting fan mail. Also, if he can still recieve those items, since I believe he never did.

Please, i would like to recieve RSVP from you about any news that occurs, just for followup, and also is he selling neverland as a fact?

    Love, Monique
    Always a fan

  5. One last piece of information, I was wondering if he still communicated with special needs children.
I am 25 years old, and never got to go to neverland as a child.

  6. I love Michael, personally and musically. I think he is so beautiful. He has the zillion dollar smile, with perfect shining teeth. I am 13 years old, and I love him so much. I would love to got to Neverland. Too bad he sold it. I feel so bad for him because of all the things he’s been through. I wish I could meet him. Does anyone know his Las Vegas or Bahrain address? I really want to send him mail telling him how much I love him!
