Israeli Racism
According to a study by The Center Against Racism, via YnetNews :
75 percent of participants did not approve of apartment buildings being shared between Arabs and Jews
Sixty percent of participants said they would not allow an Arab to visit their home
40 percent of participants agreed that "Arabs should have their right to vote for Knesset revoked"
over half of the participants agreed that Israel should encourage its Arab citizens to immigrate from the country
Over half of the participants said they would not want to work under the direct management of an Arab
55 percent said "Arabs and Jews should be separated at entertainment sites"
56 percent of participants said they believed that Israel’s Arab citizens posed both a security and a demographic threat to the country
37 percent replied, "The Arab culture is inferior."
This study concerns Arabs in Israel, who are supposedly Israeli citizens, and not the Palestinians in the West Bank or Gaza.

Sadly, anecdotal evidence is that the poll's findings are accurate.
I suspect, given a choice, I'd rather live in Tunisia than Israel, though if anyone asked, I'd say I was Canadian. :) (Yeah, the passport might be an embarrassment.)

Having lived through apartheid with all its lies, deception, racial hatred and hurt and now being able to have friends from whatever race- this is what really matters...respect everyone's point of view even if you don't agree with it. Respect, forgiveness and an attitude of moving forward to build a better nation and world is what really is important. Put differences aside and get to know other people who are different to you. Who cares if they don't agree with your point of view - it's different doesn't mean it's wrong.
