A Lot Like Love

A Lot Like LoveWe just got back from watching “A Lot Like Love“, starring Ashton Kutcher and Amanda Peet.

The movie is a light romantic comedy about two people who cross paths, make a connection, and then keep coming back to each other every now and then, with a romance growing between them.

I’m not much of an Ashton Kutcher fan, in fact I used to hate the guy’s guts, especially with Punk’d. Anyway this movie is quite nice.
It’s no cinematic masterpiece or anything, it’s just what it’s meant to be, a nice light romantic comedy.

Both lead actors do a pretty good job, and I actually liked Ashton in this role and felt he was very natural playing it. Amanda Peet, I’ve liked in all her roles up to now.

If you have some time to spare and feel like a light movie, this could be the one for you.

My score for it is: 6.5/10.

  1. إرحم حالك وبِكفّي أفلام

When will you respond to my e-mail! You are not leaving Jordan before you give me some of your precious time!

I think I have to invite you over a movie screening to get your attention! :p

  2. looool…

Of course, I’m not leaving Jordan before seeing you man. I was going to call you yesterday, but then got caught up in stuff, I’ll be calling you today.

And, hmmm, not a bad idea 😛
    Just kidding, lol…

  3. WOW!
You could get 30 DVDs for what you have paid for 5 movies and also save 10 Dinars ! 😉 lol!!!!

    I agree with Saqf … ” إرحم حالك وبِكفّي أفلام” :D!!!

  4. Actually, why not! There were a couple of documentaries that I once recommended to you and to Eman some time ago, both are simply great. There is one called “Winged Migration” and another called “Deep Blue”.

Now, there is a third one that is called “Micro Cosmos” which is still a great one, but the ones I mentioned earlier are the “MUST SEE” ones. So, you go and check both trailers and ask Eman for her opinion, and tell her both films feature Penguins! 🙂

After the Japanese thing, we can enjoy more tea in an informal manner, and watch one of the suggested documentaries. Better than paying extra money to the Jordanian cinemas! 😉

    So what do you say?

  5. WALEG, I know, but nothing equals the experience of seeing it in the cinema.
A movie like “Star Wars” or “Kingdom of Heaven” is made for the big screen!

And man, for the favor, I’ll be getting asap for you. I just have been head over heels with family stuff these past days, only getting out at night.

  6. Those are not your typical kind of documentaries, they are compared to real movies, except the cast is all real animals! Any of those two will suck you in like a real thriller. Both will play with your emotions like any good movie. Some humour, some action, some drama and some horror! You will not regret it, I have seen each like three times or so.
They both were shown on the big screen in many countries. So get prepared for a real bargain.

Did you check the trailers? Pass them on to Eman and let her decide.
