What's the difference between Bush & Kerry?!

Well lately I've been asking myself this question a lot?
What is the difference between Bush & Kerry?

I mean when Howard Dean was the front runner, the differences were obvious, and it was obvious that Dean is closer to normal people’s interests and benefits.

But now that the race is between Bush and Kerry, is there really a difference between the two?

Although, I’m with the "Anyone but Bush" idea, and always think that Bush should be kicked out of the White House, I still can’t help but ask if it will really change anything?

What do you think?

It seems that lately, the Democrats are very much like the Republicans. I'm still a little young, so I've really only voted once. But it feels like with the last election and this coming election, I'll really only be voting for the one that sucks less.

I agree with Jenn, and some of my friends think so, too. (A quick note to Jenn, don't say I'm young to vote.. don't let older people decide for you .. even if you make mistakes.. you will be aware of it .. it is your RIGHT)
In my opinion, even though I do not see a lot of difference in their foreign policy (which is the most important thing for the rest of the world), Kerry cannot be worse than Bush. Here are two reasons:
(1) The Bush's administration is composed of many people that have similar doctrine (neoconservative doctrine), and they are willing whatever it takes them to realize it. They do not care about what people think as they think they are right. They almost control the media (or probably the media share their doctrine).

(2)The second reason, which is in my opinion the most important one, is that the republicans are stronger than democrats are when it comes to influence the politics. This is a bit confusing; I know :); but think about it... If Kerry is president, the republicans will keep an eye on him, and try to criticize him even if he did something similar to what Bush did for example, you will see that republicans make their voice heard... not like democrats.. And that might control Kerry's policy..

:-) I mentioned that I was young because I didn't want everyone to think that it sucks that I've only voted once in my life. I only voted once because I'm only 23 years old.

Tiffany,

Obviously, if you don't care about even having a president, then you shouldnt be posting on a site like this. However there are sites that my 10 year old sister gets on to vote what T.V show comes on nickelodeon next...... I'm sure that one is a little more your speed. But I still have to make a point about the other things you said. For one, the fighting over in Iraq is because if what happened in the U.S. so eventually it would have come to the U.S. on a much larger scale than that of 9/11. Bush does care that people are dying, but for one it is their job, their duty, and their choice to die for their country so you need to respect that. What will it solve is the question you asked. It will help solve the problem of terrorism, especially since we have captured a terrorist that has murdered over 300,000 of his own people, and also help bring peace to this world. Which is something that is most definatly needed.

Everyone and anyone,

There are a few things in this world that really matter, that is life, liberty and family. These three things are what Pres.Bush is fighting for. He understands what is at stake, that our very freedom is at risk. He has made the choice to defend our freedom, our way of life. I find it hard to understand what goes through someone's mind when they ask what we are doing in Irag or anywhere else. Do you not remember Sept. 11, 2001, I do, and I remember what it felt like. Pres.Bush is doing what he can to make sure that we never feel that again.

GO BUSH!!!
