I'm sure Attiah won just because there is a large number of Egyptians who voted for him "estimated more than 30 million" whereas even if there is a large number of people who voted for Bashar it will never come close to 30 million (Egypt is the biggest Arabic country in terms of population). Bashar deserves to win it with flying colors but he wasn't luck enough to comeup against an Egyptian!! Baha, oh please she screams she doesn't sing...??? In my book Bashar is the winner.

The slogan of the program was "wa7do el afdal ra7 yeb2a" meaning the best will win, and MOHAMMED ATTIAH WON, so what does that tell you about him?? it's not beacuse of the popualtion or any reason like that, and even if u wanna look at it that way, THERE WAS NO SMS NUMBER FOR EGYPT AND THERE WAS ONE FOR KUWAIT, and like someone mentioned already,kuwaities are supposed to be the ones with the money right? Bashar was definately not unlucky here, he had all of kuwait and probably all of the gulf area voting for him,isn't that enough??

first of all attiya deserved to win I didn't say anything about that but on the other hand bachar should have been the real star. so some people say that attiya won cause he had more fans that is true but bachar has fans too but just cause egyptian people are more than kuaities doesn't mean that attia is better than bachar. in my opinion bachar was the best and had the better voice in all.

I think that attiya was the best one and if you people think he won because there was alot of egyptian people well your wrong you are just mad because attiya won so why donnt you just be happy for him grow up.

i just want 2 say dat i think that the last 8 students should of been stars except Maryam cuz i always thought she was boring and she killed da whole academy. i think dat she needs to fix her teeth cuz their really ugly and the dress that she wore for the last prime was UGLY. my favorite student was Sofia cuz she always looked cute. the funies were Attieh and Cynthia and Brono. bashar was really a good singer and a good piano player and i think that sofia and basha make the CUTEST couples. ahmad is really cute and lovly. khlawy has the funnies laugh(i luv it) baha is realy cute wen shes on stage and i like her voice alot. i hope the next star academy comes on SOON!!

i think that the whole star academy show was fab! bachar..is a gr8 student..and i think he could've been much better...i think his rude attitude is the thing that let him down..and every day life..he used to say that attieh didn't know how to sing...that kind of pissed me off...'cause he acts so nice to attieh but he says other stuff behind his back..ok he has the voice..knows how to have fun and is a good player..but without attieh in star academy no one would have watched the show!! he spiced the show and i gave it this gr8 touch...with his sense of humour, acting and ofcourse his voice...and to the rest (14) u are all stars..no matter how bad they r or good..they have their fans..good work everyone and congratulation to attieh!!! u deserve the best!!!

Farewell,I liked your comment about Mohammed Atteyah,U are so thoughtfull to think of Atteyah as a director.He is a very thoughtfull person,not to mention that he is a student in one of the top University schools in Egypt which is the mass media school,radio section.He always thinks,his mental activity is superb and a quick learner,for sure he was the one who benefited most amongst the 16 students.His teachers confirmed,I remember Mary Mahfoud saying this about him,they always said that he was a creative bloke.I like him very much,he was the spirit of the show,and I won't exaggerate if I say that show was all about Atteyah.Star Academy was equal to Atteyah in my eyes,it was like a dead body without him.He made me,despite that I have always been busy to follow a reality show,watch him 24/24.He is ONE MAN SHOW.He was his teachers'pet,he gained their respect and love as he gained our love and our respect.He treated all his mates in a very decent way,he was so caring.He worked very hard,no one worked that hard.I adore him,and I am sure I won't stop talking about him.I liked nobody as I liked Mohammed Atteyah,despite that I am 6 years older than him.He was born on July 16th,1983,and I was born on July 16th,1977...yes on the same day but 6 years earlier,this incidence made me believe in astrology...lol.

Each and every one of the students had their own charm, and of course they will be remembered by their own special fans!!
It is not a matter of this deserved to win or that deserved....it is not the best who won! they are all the "best" in their own way...but Attiye was special in his own way. As you all mentioned, he is a "one man show", he is talented, he is ambitious and hard working... I saw him by mistake at the Cairo international airport...and his fans were almost eating him up! ha ha....all I want to say is...mabrouk to the all the Academians...especially to Moh.Atteya....

i know that you wanted bahaa to be nomeni in the week before the last week, and you knew if she bacame nomeni she will go out of the academy,you wanted to stay only u and bashar.

I am really jealous of you (cookie),that you saw Mohammed Atteyah in the airport.I am longing to see him too.I have never loved a guy,it's Mohammed Atteyah..only him.He has very powerful and truthful feelings.I didn't like his performance in the last 2 primes as he was sick worried,it was crystal clear.Moreover,to those who say that Mohammed Atteyah was harsh to Bahaa,I see that his relationship with Bahaa is a special one,they liked eachother very much,he didn't like her less than Bashar,but this is his teasy nature.On the contrary,he was strongly bonded to many of his mates,like Ahmad,Khalawi,Cynthia,Bruno..etc.I don't think that Atteyah and Mira are compatible,she treated him in a provactive him,after all she is Lebanese girl,and he is from the Egyptian countryside.I am sure he had no experience with girls at all before,he seems very innocent and totally inexperienced.I am not saying he is perfect,as there was a part of him that didn't like the success of others as Ahmad's popularity,I saw that in his eyes while Ahmad was singing saber we radhi,Atteyah was uncomfortable.Anyway we are humans,we are not angels.I miss him,he was like a brother to me for the last 4 months,especially that my only sister was abroad.I hope he starts reading his mail.

I am Mohammed Atteyah's number one fan,and please no one think of competing with me,as I will always be his biggest fan ever.I have an obsession called MOHAMMED ATTEYAH,this young fella from Tanta.I screamed when he won,I cried as a crazy guy,my folks were very surprised,as I was never interested in anymore like this.I was watching him day and night,and I knew he would won.God knew that he was the guy who deserved to win,and hence God made him..not the 5 million Egyptians who have cell phones,not his fans in the arab world+the rest of the world.It was God'will.U don't know how hard it was for him to leave Egypt,and to provide the money to buy the ticket to go to Beirut.This guy struggled his way to the top,and God helped him through.How could you compare him with anyone else,with Khalawi who had the support of Nescafe,or Bashar the affluent guy from Kuwait,or Sophia the Morroccan model,or Yasser the Egyptian model..etc.He was rewarded what he deserved..and pls don't forget that he was the one who spiced the show and made it that popular..without him Star Academy would not have been that popular show.Take a closer look before jumping to wrong conclusions,I am not underestimating anyone,on the contrary I liked most of the students,and I would confirm that Ahmad,Bahaa and Bashar had better voices,but by the end of the day Star Academy is not about chanting only.Amr Diab is the most popular singer in the Arab world,and he has not got that beautiful voice..success is a combination of factors combined together not just one element.Atteyah will never be forgotten..he printed himself in my heart as in the heart of millions not thousands.

you ppl dont have taste at all. You choose 3attyah over Bashar.. Ok, i no Attiya is funny and he is a very good actor, but look at his star materials.. Bashar on the other hand should have won because he is talented. he plays the piano, the 3ood, the guitar, the 6abla.. need i say more? He has the star material.. Why the hell did they make him a song?? his voice is gorgeous and whoever disagree with me, u all go to hell cuz ur sooo wrong. Attieh has he voice of an Egyptian. they all have the same voice. ppl get bored of the same thing all the time. Bashar has a very nice voice and ohhh yeah, when he sings Lebanese, he looks like one.. Bashar deserved to win, but ofcourse he lost because in Egypt, they opened the phone lines for free.. and those stupid khaleejiyin voted for attieh because Bashar beat Khalawi.. Hi all,
i totally agree with EMMY of all what she said about Bashar 's voice he has a very warm voice and we all loved him, but he has not the personality of the star and he doesn't love Attieh like Attieh does, Bashar pretends that he loves atteieh, i remember very well, when BASHAR & KHALAWY were talking about Atteieh (Behind his Back)when they were having lunch together before Khalawy left few days, and they were laughing at ATTEIEH & his voice and that Atteieh entered Mme.mary class to practice the vocalise before recording a song in the studio and he's studing hard in Mme. Mary classes to improve him self,they said :" so what he can acting very well in the acting classes but he shouldn't reach this stage", they said all that about Atteieh behind his back and laugh at him in the week when they were both nominee(i think they were jealous of him and they were pretending that they r his friends). in the opposite in the same week and a few days latter Atteieh was very happy that the public saved Bashar at the prime and he came back to the Academy.
i noticed too when the Atteieh & Bahaa were nominee and they said in the prime that the last five student appeared on the the stage and HILDA announced that they will back to the Academy to spend the last week with their friends Atteieh was jumping from happiness on the stage.
but we fond out that Khalawy & Ahmed(whom i was really loved him and his character and i think he has great voice but he is very lazy as the teachers said and didn't want to do more effort at the latest 4 weeks in the program) we found out that they are both treating Atteieh very rudely, and Khalawy wanted to fight with him when he asked Attieh not to record the song with the word (kalawy) but attieh told him he can't change the word because he had to sing it like the first time, then Khalawy started to make a fight with Atteieh and said don't talk to me like that , Attieh told him "Sorry don't be upset" many times and he wanted to kiss him, but Khalawy didn't stop the shouting and fighting and continue the fight and said:" you r all 've changed (meaning all the student) then Cynthia surprised & said(she was their with Sofia)" what we did for you" then BASHAR entered and Khalawy continued fighting and tale Bashar what happened like Attieh killed him, and khalawy forget that he was the first one who started telling Atteieh always (ya TA3MEYA)= (MEANING the egyptian & arabic food TA3MEYA) and Atteieh wasn't never upset from him even when khalawy was acting that he is the BOSS or el-za3im and was beating ATTEIEH every night even on his legs and Atteieh was never upset in the oposite he took it funny and he was laughing, So why Khalawy was so upset when Atteieh told him he can't change the word (kalawy) in the song because he should record it like the first time,i think khalawy and ahmed were very strange in the last week with all and especially Atteieh.
the socned Situation when Attieh put a grip to the fish (Souda), Ahmed was eating seafood meal, then he started to punish Atteieh by putting his hands full of fishes smell from his dish and put his hands on Atteieh's face and clothes and all know that Atteieh hates seafood meals and the fishes smell and it's a disgusting gest from Ahmed. i think Ahmed has changed too, and it was so clear in the last week in the academy.
and he was welcoming Bhaa when she came back to the academy after she left, and he ran to reach her in the girls room, and he hugged and kissed her warmly.
the student espacially Ahmed and Khalawy acted very strangely when he was elected the STAR and they ignored him on the stage, in the opposite Atteieh was very noble when he was declared the star he hugged Bashar and he was carrying the flag of Kuwait with BASHAR before carrying the flag of his country Egypt and said mention Bachar (his component but his friend at the same time and we were together step by step from the beginning to the end)
he also mentiond the name of Dr. Magy who helped him go to Lebanon (she is the dean of his college by the way).
Atteya made us laugh and smile for 4 months, he made our life nicer the last 4 months, even who don't like him can't deny this and they said that too, and a lot of people were following the program because of that and for what Atteieh was doing in their days, they said we back home from work and colleges and we don't go out waiting the episode at LBC channel just to see M. Atteih cus he made our day nicer and easier.
Atteya deserves it because he has a beautiful spirit and lovely personality, and he did efforts more than his colleagues in the classes and he was studying at night when they were all sleeping vocalise and ...etc , one time he tried to open the stage door without key at 3:30 am to practice a vocalise exercise which he demanded it from Mme. Mary to improve him self.

ask yourselves people did any one of the students did that or anything like that???, even Bashar or Ahmed who have the nicest voices,
(by the way i loved Ahmed so much and he has a great voice and cute face), but as his teachers said "he is lazy and depends on his good looking so he doesn't do the requested efforts to keep him on the top, and he gave up too soon, and stopped doing any efforts the last 4 weeks in the program he hadn't any goals to win and said i want to back home and he was dancing from happiness when he knew that he is nominee with khalawy"
but Atteieh is creative & worked Harder than anyone else, and all the teachers said that many times.
So he deserves it.

ok..um..just wanted to say that atia disurved to win!!!! i think bashar does have a nice voice but his personality is alittle.....i mean for one thing did anyone notice how MAD he got that one time? i kicked a table etc. the piont is he got TO mad, and guess who came to see what was up??...atia. he is sweet and kind and sesative and FUNNY at the same time!!! thats what i LOVE about him! before the last prime everyone said: he disurved to win but probebly wouldnt, i made them beleive he would though, and he did! and he disurved it more than anyone. as i said he was kind and funny at the same time. he is truely amazing...
