SuperStar 4 - Finals - Prime 2

The second prime of the finals of Arab SuperStar 4 on Future TV just ended. It was a good show and all the contestants did a pretty good job.

The show started with all the contestants singing a medley of star guest Mayyada Hinnawi’s songs.

As for the candidates’ individual songs, here’s the list of the 11 performances:

- Marouen Ali (Tunisia): Hayyarouni Einik El Soud (Saber Rbai)
- Fadi Abd El Khalek (Lebanon): Ya Hobb Elli Ghab (Milhem Barakat)
- Saad Lemjarrad (Morroco): Omri Kollo (Wael Kfoury)

My favorites performances from today were by: Youssef Bara, Rihab Saleh, Yosra Mahnoush.

Only one contestant will be leaving tomorrow. You can vote online for your favorite performers on the website: futuresuperstar.com
Voting goes on until tomorrow evening just before the results are announced.
Good luck to all the contestants.

Next week’s guest star will be Ibrahim El Hakami, last season’s SuperStar.

A little piece of information was also announced in this prime, it seems the jury will be able to save one of the contestants who would otherwise leave if they all think he/she deserves another chance.

Super Star 4 - Finals - Prime 1 - The Results

The results for the first prime of the Arab SuperStar 4 finals just aired on Future TV.

The contestants who were called into the danger zone were:

- Fadi Abdelkhalek (Lebanon)
- Youssef Bara (Syria)
- Nada Omar (Egypt)
- Yosra Mahnoush (Tunisia)
- Eliane Ba’ayni (Lebanon)

And the two contestants who had to leave the show this week were:
- Nada Omar (Egypt)
- Eliane Ba’ayni (Lebanon)

I personally was shocked to see Nada Omar leave, I thought she had a really nice voice, and that she’d be around for some more shows before she left. But well that’s how the game goes.

Good luck to Nada and Eliane with their careers outside of SuperStar, and to the remaining contestants for the next weeks.

The next prime’s guest star will be Mayyada Hinnawi.

SuperStar 4 - Finals - Prime 1

The first prime of the finals of Arab SuperStar 4 on Future TV just ended. It was a great show and all the contestants did a great job, a festival of beautiful music and voices.

The show kicked off with a group song called “Inta El Mustaqbal”. The contestants didn’t perform this song live, they just lip-synched to it, and I might as well add that some of them did a bad job at it.

As for the candidates’ individual songs, here’s the list of the 13 performances:

- Saad Lemjarrad (Morroco): Misheet Khalas (Wael Jassar)
- Eliane Ba’ayni (Lebanon): Habbaytak (Feirooz)
- Youssef Bara (Syria): El Adhab (Milhem Barakat)
- Rihab Saleh (Egypt): Daret El Ayyem (Om Kolthoum)
- Ahmad Hussein (Lebanon): Shou Jabek A’ Hayyina Ya Sgheeri (Milhem Zein)
- Nesma El Kurdi (Egypt): Alf Leyla ou leyla (Om Kolthoum)
- Fadi Abd El Khalek (Lebanon): Ya Seif Elli Al Aada Tayel (Marwan Mahfoudh)
- Raoudha Ben Abdallah (Tunisia): Ash’a Ou Ghalbana (Sabah)
- Ibrahim El Ashri (Egypt): Hawa Ya Hawa (Afaf Radhi)
- Marouen Ali (Tunisia): Asmar Y’ Asmarani (Abd El Halim Hafez)
- Nada Omar (Egypt): Sa’alouni El Nas (Feirooz)
- Mustapha Saeed (Egypt): Athadda El Alam (Saber Rbaii)
- Yosra Mahnoush (Tunisia): W’ Hyatak Ya Habeebi (Sayyed Makkawi)

As I said earlier, all the performances were great ones today, but if I had to choose my favorites they’d be: Youssef Bara, Rihab Saleh, Nada Omar, Yosra Mahnoush.

Apparently two contestants will be leaving tomorrow. You can vote online for your favorite performers on the website: futuresuperstar.com
Voting goes on until tomorrow evening just before the results are announced.

Good luck to all the contestants.

The two contestants who were voted into the finals were: Marouen Ali and Raoudha Ben Abdallah from Tunisia, who both gave great performances.

An exception was made and a third contestant was also passed to the finals, and that was Ibrahim El Ashri from Egypt.

A lot of the other contestants had great voices and performed very well, but well that’s how the game goes, and we can’t always have our favourites make it into the finals or win in the end.
