Future Arab SuperStarThe eighth prime of the finals of Arab SuperStar 4 on Future TV aired last night. The star guest of this episode was Syrian legend Sabah Fakhri, who performed three of his songs throughout the show.
The show kicked off with the candidates singing a medley of Sabah Fakhri’s songs.
As for the contestants’ individual songs, each contestant performed two songs, and here’s the list of their performances:

Saad Lemjarrad (Morroco):
- Ya Soghr El Farh (Hussein El Jasmi)

- Wala Marra Konna Sawa (Milhem Barakat)
Marouen Ali (Tunisia):
- Batwannes Beek (Warda)
- Alli Gara (Olayya)
Yosra Mahnoush (Tunisia):
- El Atlal (Om Kolthoum)
- El Amaken (Muhammed Abdo)
My favorite performances from today were by Marouen Ali and Yosra Mahnoush, although all the contestants did a great job.

The next prime’s guest star will be Lebanese star Carole Samaha.
Marwan was great! He just keeps on shining as they are going along. Even though my number one is Yusra, but I think he was a very strong rival to her last night. I know there was a technical problem and it was not her fault in the first song, and she is still great.
My first three are still Yusra, Marwan and Saad.
One more thing, to tell the truth, Rihab was fabulous in performing her second song of Fairuz.
Rihab did an excellent job with Fairouz’s song. We finally saw the Rihab that everyone initially fell in love with. Let’s see if she gets a chance to show us that side of her again.
Ahmad was horrific with Melhem’s song.
Marwan has had a great streak but he was so off tune/key during Sabber’s song…it was painful to my ears. I think he’ll have to shake it off and rock it next week.
Yousra, she has an amazing voice, no denying that. However, every week she’s the same and there is nothing different. I couldn’t see myself watching her in concert for more than an hour, no matter how great the lyrics may be. Yesterday wasn’t her strongest day.
Saad was great. Consistent as usual, he has such an ability to play with his voice.
In my opinion, Ahmad or Marwan should be leaving today.
rihab is always fabulous .. well u should think that why did they bring her back to the show if she wasnt a star !?
the truth is , what im sure of is that its going to be between marwan and saad !
rihab deserves a big wow , shes the bessssst !!! and yusra will never stop yelling ! i hate this ! shes too fast ! when she sings she makes u feel that shes running with the words lol !!
ahmad is so good , i like him but i dont know why i feel like he is a bit maghrur !! i really do like him but i think that he doesn`t have the good technics , he yells too much like yusra ..

and for those who think that rihab isnt good , i wanna say that this show is all about voices and talents not looks .. i dont think that ” thikra ” Allah yirhamha , was pretty but she had the BEST voice ever !

i think that mustafa from egypt , yousef bara from syria and rihab were the best to choose to get back to the show ! they deserve the best .. so either it was yousef , mustafa or rihab .. its all good to me !
so please dont judge or talk and say that rihab is not good if u dont have the judgers experience =)

Saad will be SuperStar 2007, for his voice, personality, and just the way he is, he’s a star! I must say though, yesterday was not one of his best performances, and having to fly to Morrocco and back must be pretty tiering.

Yussra is the best followed by Marwan and Saad. Ahmad sucks and Rihab has a good voice but a terrible personality, she should have never come back.
Yussra should win, she has a voice that all of the judges love.
BTW, have you noticed that Fadia is so much pro lebanon? granted she is from that country but I thought they were judging based on voice and performance not based on ethnic background

I’m really feel bad about this program First of all Ahmad is so bad and he is still there just bec he is Lebanese. Saad is still there just bec he is good looking. Yussra is the best and she should win, Rihab was ok, but not a Super Star. Ahmad should have been thrown out a long time ago, I guess they should change the location of Super Star to another country and have more NON LEBANESE judges

Yes that would probably be a better place. I have nothing against any country, but when it is on teh land of that country an d3/4 of judges are from that country, they are bound to favor their own nation

Prar, I agree with you about the contestants. Ahmad should have been thrown out some time ago.
But I do not agree with you about the judges, they are great and remeber they have nothing to do with who stays or leaves, even if they favour somebody. It is the people who vote and then decide.
I heard Ahmad keeps saying he is the only lebanese on so people should vote for him… just for that is stupid !!

you should know that the success for every single program should pass through the lebanese people to be number one program for example superstar………..its all about lebanon and the lebanese touch, thats the success by itself……sorry, but this is the true.

That is totally not true. Egyptians have a great influence and a perfect example was Halim. I am not against any one country nor do I say that Lebanon should not be involved.
All I am saying is that, lets be fair, get a judge from Egypt, one from Algeria, Moroco or Tunisia, one from Lebanon and one from the Gulf.
That way, there is more appeal to the show and everyoen gets a fair chance.
Fadia was so obvious in number 7, Ahamd was as good as a goat and she todl him he was PERFECT. Or mayeb she needs some ear aid

u should rest sometime .. this show is a mixture of arab countries and we`re proud of it .. there`s this lebanese kuwaiti taste in the judges part and theres this arab countries taste in the contestants side ! which makes the show so YUMMY

Dalal of Kuwait that loves to mention in every other post the jury decision to bring Rehab back, but conveniently ignores the fact that there is not a single contestant in superstar 4 has the respect and the appreciation of every member of the jury like Yusra has.
I don’t think all the very qualified members of the jury are constantly wrong about Yusra, I don’t think the people voting for her are wrong about her voice, I don’t think Melhem Barakat when he called the show to congratulate her was wrong about her voice….I do think however, that the problem is in your ears Dalal.

This contest sucks. First it is not a fair contest because it isn’t the amount of votes that matter, but the refery dicesion that counts. They hates the guts of the LEBANESE people. BOutras said ” the last two contestents will be from tounis”. THis is the last time we watch this program.
