28/11/05 : Prime 1 Results : Finals : Future Arab SuperStar

The results for the first prime of the Future SuperStar finals were just announced.

The dream ended for one of the contestants and they had to leave.

Ayman started by announcing that the one to leave was one of the girls, and then started by elimination until two were left.

I expected a Tunisian to leave in this prime, and I was right, the two who got the least votes were Tunisians: Yosra Hamzaoui and Asma Othmani, who both got negative feedback from the jury last night.

And the candidate who had to leave was… Yosra Hamzaoui.

Her performance wasn’t that good last night, but she’s usually a lot better, and the sequences they showed after her elimination just came to confirm how great a voice she has.

I wish her the best of luck outside the show, she has a really nice voice, and deserves to have her dream come true.

    All I could say is that I’m glad Asma Othmani got to stay.

    This isn’t making it easier, it will be tougher week by week. I hope they all get their fair share of fame when they leave the show.

    Oh well :( .. it was a given that a Tunisian will leave .. but my predicition leaned towards Asma Othmani .. I sort of believed that Yosra was the best out of the 4 Tunisian contestants despite her weak performance last night … Anyways ..can’t wish her but best of luck!!

    It’s really crazy that Yosra left…….I thought she gave a killer performance of Om Kolthoum’s “shwai Shwai”…….but hey, I’m sure the best will win at the end……I live on the east coast of the US and I saw the Sunday episode at 8pm EST but I missed the Monday episode…..any idea when the Monday episode usually airs?……..thanks a lot

    Ibrahim Alhakami all the way.. he is a super star and also a super heavy man too… God bless him… i voted for him over 50 times and inshallah till the end…

OK .. 7al wasat … I ‘ll make it short :) lol .. I just expect another Tunisian will fall out in this one too ..     Ok… sorry but just found out that Samar Qandeel from Egypt was removed from the competition. (She sang Wahashteenee)

    The other three in the danger zone were:

    - Ibrahim Al Hakami
    - Asma Ben Ahmad
    - Ahmad Al Faleh

    Thanks for posting the results Suzanne .. Hard luck for Samar Qandeel .. I thought she deserves to stay much longer .. She did not give her best last time .. but still, over all she has a great potential … Looking at the full part of the glass it seems that voting is not going strictly based on nationality, otherwise a Tunisian sounded more likely to leave … way to go for everybody … can’t wait to see how they are going to do next week .. adios amigos :)

    I am upset samar left. I think theres something screwed with the voting. I think yossra and samar should of stayed longer. Now theres no egyptians. I think Ibrahiam or the libyan or morrocanguys shopuld of left. Now I’m voting for Amin from tunis or Asma Bin Ahmed.
