20/11/05 : Episode 3 : Stage 3 : Future Arab SuperStar

Today was the last chance episode of the third stage of Arab SuperStar on Future TV.

In this episode, there were 5 male contestants and 5 female contestants, of which only 2 will make it to the finals.
They all did really well and a lot better than their first performance. The decision will be a hard one.

Here is a list of the contestants and the songs they performed:

- Hasna Zlagh (Morocco): Hayyart Albi (Om Kolthoum)
- Ibrahim Abd El Adheem (Libya): Kamel El Awsaf (Abd El Halim Hafedh)
- Olfa El Barhoumi (Tunisia): Zayy El Asal (Sabah)
- Anis Ltaief (Tunisia): Alf Leela Ou Leela (Om Kolthoum)
- Aida El Rahbani (Lebanon): Bahlam Beek (Abd El Halim Hafedh)
- Yousef Kazar (Iraq): Ya Nas Sahh El Noom
- Asma Othmani (Tunisia): La Mush Ana Elli Abki (Mohamed Abd El Wahab)
- Mohamed El Abd (Egypt): Ahibbeeni (Kathem El Saher)
- Rachel El Rasi (Lebanon): Ana Ba’shaak (Mayyada El Hinnawi)
- Mohamed Gamal (Egypt): Awwal Marra Thibb Ya Albi (Abd El Halim Hafedh)

My favourites were: Olfa El Barhoumi, Anis Ltaief and Asma Othmani.

Again, only 2 of the 10 candidates will make it to the finals, and voting goes on until tomorrow evening when the results are announced.

Voting can be done through sms and online too at : http://www.futuresuperstar.com.

Frankly, the only one who really caught my attention this round is Yousef Kazar (Iraq) .. and it is little hard for me to think of a second runner, Olfat Barhomi (Tunisia) deserves a chance too .. very nice feelings, although I felt that she has “ladgha” which might be problematic for a singer .. but hey .. Abdulwahhab had that .. and guess what .. she sang for Abdelwahhad … smart move :P wishing all good luck
