Future Arab SuperStarToday was the first episode of the 2005 season Arab SuperStar on Future TV.
As a big music fan, this must be the only talent show I ever look forward to.
This year, as we already knew, Rania El Kurdi left the show and was replaced by Egyptian Heba El Sisi to present the show with Ayman Qaysooni.
As for the judges, the three judges of last year Elias Rahbani, Fadia Tanab and Abdullah Al G’ood remained and Lebanese composer Ziad Boutros joined them.
The show’s auditions were held in: Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, UAE, Tunisia, Australia and the USA where thousands of people showed up.
The people who were shown in this episode and who passed are the following:
Frank Mirza (Iraq), Asma Ben Ahmed (Tunisia), Hanan El Qaddoomi (Tunisia), Boshra El Sahafi (Morocco), Anis El Jaidi (Tunisia), Sara Ben Sheikha (Tunisia), Anis Ltaief (Tunisia), Nancy Nasrallah (Lebanon), Elie Nimeh (Lebanon), Rachel El Rasi (Lebanon), George Hzeim (Lebanon), Wafa Kairooz (Lebanon), Sayyed Mohamed Shafooshi (Lebanon), Wurood Antabeel (Palestine), Haitham Al Shomari (Palestine), Ahmad El Faleh (Iraq).
These all had really good voices and deserved to pass.
As usual there were a lot of funny moments and people who totally sucked. That all adds to the fun of the show.
Something I was really happy to hear is that the show got so many good auditions in Tunisia that they had to choose over 30 participants to pass to the next stage. That totally rocks! I hope to see some of them in the finals.
Ahhh great.. now the mission is to find a torrent site with the shows being hosted…

Wow I was waiting so long for episode 1 and my stupid DISH Network had the wrong show listed so I missed almost the whole thing. I only caught the last 10 minutes. I wish DISH network would actually put the title “SuperStar” instead of “Variety” cuz “Variety” is used for over 20 shows. And al Zlako said a Torrent for this would KICK MAJOR ASS! Haha =)

Since Super Star has started there were several injustice, first with Hathem (Moroco) and Haitham Al Shomari (palestine)these guys should have stayed in, now from my point of view these guys weren’t going to be the super star of 2006, at least we could have enjoyed a bit more there voices then many others without saying any names you guys probably know who i am talking about…Now we need to understand the concept of all this, voting for someone because they belong to ur country is extremely ridiculous, it aggravates me when i see the best singers such as Shahd and Ayman go in the danger zone, what is this none sense!!!! Shahd is just incredible, not once did i say she did a bad performance, and Ayman one of the best has a beautiful voice and can really sing!, Ayman, Shahd and Ahmad are my top 3…No offence to you girls, but voting for ahmad because of his looks is really stupid, you will not win anything by doing this,leave the opportunity to serious people that take this show seriously to vote!
