Future Arab SuperStarIt’s a shame I wasn’t able to watch the episode today 
Future TV doesn’t work for me for some reason.
Anyway, I heard it was a great episode and that the contestants all did a great job with the exception of Ayman.
I hope to hear more from all you Superstar fans about it and about how the candidates did, what songs they sang, who the guest was, …etc. In short, please tell us everything.
Even though I didn’t watch today’s episode. My expectations for tomorrow are that Brigitte will leave.
I hope we don’t have any other bad surprises.

basically i think they all did a super job!!! ayman and brig were the weakest ones (in my opinion) but hopefully brig leaves instead of Ayman! lol

This episode was more than AWESOME!!! Ya3ny everybody did GRRREAAAAT and sang BEAUTIFULLY, although some of them were sick —> GREAT JOB EVERYONE!!!!
RANIM YA RANIM, wallah I don’t know what to say, no words would decribe how AWESOME he was today. Ranim was soooo great this episode (although he is sick, salameto w salamet albo). He did VERY VERY VERY WELL mashallah in both songs.

AYMAN, ya3ny to be truthful, he was really good today as well, and his performance was outstading in both songs (although I’m not a big fan of him).

HADI was OUTSTANDING too today in both songs, ya3ny he did well and showed that he has improved A LOT

And last but not least, AMMAR. He was REALLY OUTSTANDING in both songs, and I LOVED both of them. And Niveen, u got it, he showed WAAAY MORE feelings today. I really loved his first performance, and I liked his second too, but for some reason I didn’t really enjoy the “tone” he was singing it with (to me it was kinda wierd), bas he def. did it VERY VERY WELL.

MMM, there was no guest today like the other days. There was a very famous violin player called Jihad Fadel, he was there and he played music, but he didn’t stay like the other guests. It was AMAZING cuz in the beginning and at the ned of the episode, the judges were on stage. Mr. Elias Alru7bani was playig on the Piano, and Mr. 3abdallah Q3ood was playing 3ood and Mrs. Fadya was singing. THAT WAS SOOO COOOL!!!

for all the people who quit watching the show after mohannad left… ur missing out a lot cuz as far as i can tell, there was a lot of talent that was exhibited tonight and i think you should give the show another chance cuz there are some really great talents on it and they deserve a chance to be watched just like everyone else did.

I don’t want to sound rude but I recommend you see a doctor about your hearing. I believe that with the great advancement of medicine, leading doctors may help not only your hearing but your delusions of how good Ranim is. He seems like a real nice guy but not anywhere in the areana of superstar. The only reason he is still there is one of Egyptian national pride. You will find that almost all his votes come from Egypt. And I will bet my house that you are Egyptian. Not that it is wrong to support your national representative but a reality pill taken twice a day should help these delusions of him winning pass away…

It’s ok that you don’t like ranim or that you don’t think that ranim’s voice is nice…you know?niveen also told aman something like what you told me about seeing a doctor or so. Aman was really angry(no offense)but i’m not angry, that’s your opinion and i respect it for sure and won’t tell you anything. But I’m not the only one who loves ranim here(not asking you to tell them anything of course). I know someone here who doesn’t love ranim but he always says that ranim has a nice voice..last week, when muhannad left, MMM said that the only good voices left are ammar and ranim…..do we all need to see a doctor?

today was my personaly fav primes! i just loved the way Ammar sang it blew me away it was really great followed by Ranim Hadi Ayman and brigette. Go Ammar! there are only a few ppl left so its getting really hard.

The episode was so touching as it started with the lovely music by elias and Fadia’s angelic voice, beautiful they gave the episode a lot of warm atmosphere that wasn’t shown before in the previous ones. I loved Fadia’s true feelings when she was singing..
All contestants were good. I liked Ranim and brigitte did well in the mawwal. I admired 3ammar in “zahrat al mada2en” lovely song, that no one can sing it other than fairouz and abir nehmeh i guess, but it was so touching when he sang it, and everyone cried..and esp. Fadia cried and i loved the tears in her eyes.7abibti Calabala this time u can’t deny his feelings, he was singing from his heart regardless from his face expression, he was closing his eyes all the time.
I also loved the way Muhannad proved that he is a great , classy person by being in the episode with the audience and supporting his friends by holding all their pictures. He is a lovely person.

jo, wow well according to you, salma’s not the only one who needs a doctor… LOL! oh well, this is a democratic atmosphere and you can say what you want but i don’t think that’ll change anything b/c i truely believe that ranim has an incredible voice and even if he doesn’t get the title, he’ll still be a star…just like milhim zain (he didn’t win superstar last year but he’s prob. the most successful out of all the finalists of last year.)
guys and girls… i felt something really strange today as i was watching superstar… whenever they had the superstar commercials that show the pictures of the contestants that are left, i noticed that they showed the pictures in this order: brig., ayman, ammar, hadi, and then ranim. it gave me the chills b/c i had this really bad feeling that it’s foreshadowing how the result is going to be… i think that the results (if my feelings and suspitions are correct) are going to be

oh God, please don’t let this happen but if what moustafa said is true (that they manipulate the votes) then i think that what they’re gonna be according to the order of the picts… let’s just hope not!

I’m so inspired by the energy of the episode, one of the best so far. All did a good job, I loved Fadya’s singing with Elyas Rahbani on the piano and Abdallah on the ‘Oud. Jihad ‘Aqel was absolutely amazing.
Just a couple of hours before the prime I watched the sun set over Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives, a magistic hilltop overseeing the old city of Jerusalem with clear views of Al-Aqsa and the Nativity Church and other timeless architecture. I knew that Ammar will be singing zahrat Al-Mada’en and was quietly singing it in my head as I watched the sun pay its daily tribute to the proud walls of this wounded city. We hear of Palestine often times through the news that creep to the top of the headlines and the breaking news bar at the bottom of our TV screens. We became accustomed to footages and reports of clashes between Israeli Forces and Palestinian villagers not the least of which are clashes in protest of the construction of a medieval wall dubbed a separation barrier. Ammar has managed, for a few brief moments every Sunday, to make us forget our problems, transcend to a world of dreams with his powerful voice, he carries us on a magical journey beyond any physical boundaries high above any checkpoints flying over all separation barriers. It should be no surprise that Palestine made it to every home yesterday curtsy of Ammar who generously offered Jerusalem to millions of homes.
Just sharing my thoughts.

i am back.i don’t think that you forgot me.i know i told you i would not be back before 2 weeks. but guess what ,i have a little surprise for you you ammar’s weirdos.
I must start by saying that it absolutely was an amazing episode. MMM, you have to watch th re-run. It is a must see episode. Fadia was absolutely the superstar. It’s not fair for her to forbid us from enjoying her amazing voice.
I think they all were very good. Even Ayman and Brigget were better than past performances.
One more thing, I am sorry, but I really didn’t like Ammar’s performance of Zahrat Al-Mada2in. I think he screwed it up as he has been doing with all emotional songs. Closing the eyes doesn’t count as singing with passion in my books. Abu Farweh (and others), enta 7abeebi wallah, don’t take it personal… i am just one guy against the world.

Yesterday, this thought came to my mind.
This season of Superstar started out a lot stronger than last year with a lot of really good talents, and everyone was amazed by the level of the competition this year.
But now, when I look at it, at the stage of the final four. I have to say that at this stage last year, the level was a lot better.
Diana, Ruweida, Milhem and Saoud are a lot better than having Ammar, Ayman, Hadi, Ranim and Brigitte.
Ammar and Ranim do fit, but the rest I don’t think so.
It’s a shame how a competition that started so promising and great has dropped in level.
I still can’t believe people like Waed, Housam and Muhannad had to leave.

jo, i don’t think ranim is as bad as you say, of course i respect your opinion even if you didn’t respect mine..but i just wanted to answer your questions..i think that ranim’s voice is fantastic and wanted nowadays, as he’s so romantic. But let me tell you something, melhim zein’s voice is powerful and awesome while singing jabali and wadi3 elsafi’s songs. But he didn’t think of that and his new cd is normal(i won’t say bad), but any other person less talented than him can make the same cd. Also, about the world idol, i think if ranim won, he would represent us well bec of his romantic and fantastic voice, also bec he’s well behaved and funny at the same time

Hey all, I’ve been reading your comments for the past few days but I’ve been silent that whole time. Just thought I’d come back and say that Ammar’s last song was the highlight of the episode and that I agree with Jo that Ranim is overrated. However, I do respect people’s opinions. Rouchdy- I am neither Palestinian nor a big Ammar fan, but I voted for him today because he is the best remaining contestant. WoW, I have not read any of ya’lls comments, but I would like to first say hello to all my fellow bloggers.
About yesterdays episode, I appluade Future TV, the contestants on a job well done, truly a music festival, thanks to the songs of the rahbani brothers..and to the contestants who really sang thier hearts out…I dont want to offend anybody, but I honestly think this weeks vote, i think it should be Ayman who leaves us….Ranim did well, Hadi has improved quite a bit..Brigette, Shockingly, I would be dissapointed if she leaves us this week, she has truly out done her self…Finally!!!
Ammar, what can I say…the voice of palestine…was louder than any bullet fired, carried the pain of a lost innocense..yet the determination and the strength of steel. I had my fears going into the episode about ammars style of singing and the way that zahrat al mada2en is done..but, I dont think anybody esle could have done it better…Not to take away credit to the way he performed the first song (amazing). From laughter to tears….is the only to truly describe this performance…Go Ammar. And thank you for stiring up emotions that have been stowed away for a very long time.
Long live palestine…Way to go Ammar, you are the superstar.

Uneventfull, Went to a party saturday night (sucked), went partying thursday night, it also sucked…the one weekend I choose to go out after a long time of being good, the parties were just awful…anyways, bas I got to sleep alot. which is great…..
How about that mawal that Ammar sang, bel madraseh 3alamti kilha sifer, bas 10/10 bakhod fe 7obik ana, I had about six friends over watching the show yesterday, and all of them were just clapping and cheering as if they were in the studio!!!….so inshAllah he’ll be safe and will make it through being a superstar…

Ghada,and Lulu welcome back again,it’s been a while:) to answer your question about Jihad Akel,it was on Zahi Wahbi program (khlaeek belbeit) last year that I got my information from. if you remember it, he started the episode with the song(min Mawtenny Libnan b7ayee balady Felsteen), the info I remember he’s a son of Palestinan refugee, born and raised in Lebanon, still hold his (wathiqat safar). I remember that Zahi criticized the idea that Jihad always represent Lebanon in his art, and almost nobody knows he’s Palestinian, and he was honored from president La7ood couple of weeks before Zahi’s show,and played in the presidential palace. Zahi said that it was expected that the president is gonna offer him the Lebanese passpor but he didn’t. anyways I’m not here to comment is right or wrong to offer him a passport,I’m just telling you wher I got my info from.Jihad Akl is very talented in his violin,yet he’s very tayeb w baseet in speaking, you’d love to listen him playing more than talking:)

so Ayman lives to fight another day… or rather win another day. Brigette wasn’t that bad the last time, and she was sick and her voice wasn’t coming out. i dont think we’re sad about the result, but it would be more fitting for Ayman to pack his stuff and leave.
