Future Arab SuperStarToday’s episode kicked off with a medley of Diana Haddad’s songs with each of the 6 contestants singing a part of a song.
It was weird not seeing Housam Madaniyyah with the guys, and even weirder to see how only 6 candidates were left.
As with last week, each candidate sang 2 songs.
My favourites from this episode were:
- Muhannad Mshallah (Syria)
- Ammar Hassan (Palestine)
- Ranim Qoteit (Egypt)
And as for who I think should leave, it’s Brigitte Yaghi. Ayman and Hadi actually did better than her in this episode.
The songs the candidates sang were as follows:

- Ammar Hassan: Habeebi Dawwabni El Hawa (Milhim Barakat)
- Ayman El Aatar: Asaliyya (Saber El Rbai)
- Muhannad Mshallah : Dibna A Ghyabak (George Wassouf)
- Ranim Qoteit: Min Gheer Leeh (Mohamed Abd El Wahab)
- Hadi Aswad : Hilif El Amar (George Wassouf)
Then Diana sang a bit of her song “Awwal Marra”.
Then the candidates came back and sang the following:
- Brigitte Yaghi : Ash’a Ou Ghalbana (Sabah)
- Ammar Hassan : Ou Darat El Ayyam (Om Kalthoum)
- Ayman El Aatar : Ya Msafer Wahdak (Mohamed Abd El Wahab)
- Muhannad Mshallah : Ohdono El Ayyam (Warda)
- Ranim Qoteit : Samra Ya Samra (Karem Mahmoud)
- Hadi Aswad : Halliffak Bil Ghosn (Wadee’ El Safi)
To end it all, Diana sang “Law Ma Dakhalt B’Rasi” and “Ya Weily”.
The candidates will be going to Egypt on wednesday to meet Egyptian fans. This is part of a little tour they’ll be doing to meet fans from the Arab world.

HEY ALL! Today’s episode was really good because it was Tarab. I have to admit, I really think everyone did a great job. My favorites were Muhannad, Hady and Ranim. Ranim was really something today, I was very impressed. And credit should be given when deserved, Hady was AMAZING when he sang for Wadi Alsafi. Even Elias couldn’t help but clap for him, he was great. I loved Muhannd’s first performance. I think Ammar is smart in picking Melhem Barakat because he sounds best when he sings for him. I’m not an Ayman fan, but he really did great today. Honestly, it was a good episode because everyone was impressive. Hopefully the votes are fair this week!
hey everybody, I believe that Hady Aswad has gotten much better over the past few weeks. People on this blog used to make fun of him because he would only get votes from teenage girls, but now he gets votes from everywhere. My dad actually believes he’ll win Superstar, but that probably scares some of you
Anyway, just wanted to say that he’s getting much better and that he shouldn’t be in the danger zone for a while now. peace out- Dude
Oh yea…and how great is it that when you vote on the internet now….they actually tell you that you vote successfully in english lol. Finally I can be sure that my votes are being counted haha. Best of luck to Muhannad, Hadi, Ammar and Ranim! I hope these guys are in the final 4. I really think Bridgette should leave next, her second performace was weak and everyone else did much better than her. Even Halba guy Ayman lol, I must admit was really great!
Hey! I know I write too much guys..sorry lol. But Dude, I totally agree with you and feel the same way. It’s not Hady’s fault if there are teenage girls voting for him or that they think he is cute. That should not take away from the fact that he has improved TREMENDOUSLY and that he really was amazing today. He was def in the top 3 of my favorites. I always tried to defend him too when people here made fun of him…glad someone else agrees with me. I don’t know about him winning lol, but people must admit that he made it much farther than anyone expected. Good Job Hady!!!

What an awesome episode!!!!! I loved it
Honestly, this was more than what words can describe. The contestants were greaaaaaat, more than only great!!
Unfortunately, Brigitte had to start it, I really didn’t like her as much as the other contestants. She was O.K. today, in my opinion less than average in both songs, and if the votings comes fair this time, Brigitte will be the one leaving us this Monday (Ya Rab). Not cuz I hate her, but cuz her “curve” is going down rather than going up!!!
Away from Brigitte, Ammar was great today, basically its his day and I was sure before watching this prime that he would be the top. Again, I don’t know why, I felt that he didn’t have as much feelings as he should have had to sing both songs, but specifically Um Kalthoum’s song. I have to admit that he had much more feelings this time, however, they weren’t enough.
Overall, he was Awesome —> CLAP CLAP CLAP
Ayman ya Ayman, he was better than ever today, he sang both songs beautifully, I really liked his performance today more than all the previous ones, it was great in both songs. He def. deserves applause —> CLAP CLAP CLAP
Muhannad “Ma3bood Algamaheer”. Every time he rocks more than the previous one. Oh god, he was AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME, “Wa7sh” as Diana 7addad called him. He performed both songs greatly and if he leaves, guys I’m telling u, it will be a great loss, so plz support him cuz he is one of those who deserve it. Awesome job ya wa7sh —> CLAP CLAP CLAP, lol
Ranim ys 3emlaq as they have called him today. Oh my god, honestly, he was among the top three in this episode. My ranking is basically, Muhannad, then Ammar, then Ranim. Man he deserves more than what I can say, I actually never expected that Ranim is that good. His performance rocked in both songs. WOW WOW WOW —> CLAP CLAP CLAP
And last but not least, “Abo de7ka genan” Hadi, he was great today, as well. Although, I liked him more in the second song cuz honestly I was very close to tearing, the guy rocked in that song (Mashallah), he was more than just awesome. His first song was good too, but I had the impression that he would be in the danger zone and might leave after he sang it, but when he sang the second one, I said WOW, if he leaves after such performance, it would suck big time!!! Great job —> CLAP CLAP CLAP
I really wish all of them a good luck, however, I wanna Muhannad, Ammar, and Ranim to be safe this Monday and not fall in the danger zone, but who knows with that type of voting going anything could happen.

so i heard the episode was great… i haven’t seen it yet so i gotta wait a couple more hours until i can see the rerun… but thanks for reassuring me aman… i’m so glad that now they tell you that your votes were sucessful b/c in the past with that whole “?????” thing… i really didn’t know if i was voting right or not! it was weird reading the post my MMM today and not seeing Hussam on his list of favs. I guess when you get used to something… it’s weird when it’s gone. oh and i’m so glad someone agrees with me that ammar,muhannad,ranim, and hadi should be the top 4 (not really in any particular order just as long as all 4 of them are in it…). i really wouldn’t be surprised if hadi did get superstar… a lot of people seem to love him and he’s really been improving… well good luck to all!

Wow I have to admit it was a very nice episode. All did great in general with the exception of Briggette( sorry for her fans ,but I wasn’t impressed) Ammar was just greaaaaat with both songs,but the second one was really amazing cause I wasn’t sure that anybody can do Um Kalthoum.Muhannad was great in the first song,the second was average. ranim was average on AbdelWahab song but was nice on the second. halaba guy,well I guess that’s weird but I have to admitt I liked his performance especially 3asaliah. Hadi was nice too. briggette was again the weakest. in general ,since I prefer to vote on overall performance since the beginning of the program I still put Ammar and Muhannad in top followed by Ranim

ok,lets see how diana haddad reacted when muhannad sang to know that he was the best tonite.his first song was the best in the whole episode.ammar was very good specially in the first one.i think that ayman was not bad (i dont know how) and ranim was average.hadi sang the first song terribly (even fadia was speechless) but the second one was good.brigitte way below average although i really like her. the ranking is as follows 1 muhannad elwa7sh 2 ammar 3 the frog ayman(very strange) 4 ranim 5 hadi 6 brigitte anyone who likes muhannad should vote as much as he can because he is in danger and he honestly deserves to stay.

I hate to say it guys, but I think Ranim will lose after Brigitte does this week. … In my opinion Ammar stood out the most, something weird with Muhannad’s second performance. I just expected much more from the “wa7sh”. Ayman, to most of us was surprisingly outstanding. The rest did fine for the exception of Brigitte, poor girl it seems she feels that her time has come !!

First of all I have to say thiswas an AMAZING episode, agreat kick off to the program after two weak episodes … of course Hussam’s absence is notable … I have been waiting for his performance in such episode ..oh well … ma 3alaina
My expectation has not changed from what u already know … Assuming Muhannad’s get’s Hussam’s voted (at leasta good chunk of it)… Brigitte will kiss au revoir to the show. I don’t believe it has anything to do with her performance tonight though. Just based on voting paterns from the previous weeks. I wish it is based on performance (she would still get out lol) … but would still have a lot of the names that got kicked out waaaaaaay beforethier time. Ok .. who else will be in the danger zone, well, our friend Ruby didn’t answerour questions on the voting results ..how close are they … differences in tens, hundreds, thousands??? If the votes are really very very tight(hundreds at most) then Muhannad will himself a great push away from danger, bringing Hady and HOPEFULLY lol Ayman. If not, il maskeen will get the taste of the danger zone again this week, of course with Hady. Bas ana personally optimistic ana Brigitte is out so I won’t freak outwhen I see him there

i dont think that hussam votes will go to mohannad because i dont feel that the majority of syrians are supporting muhannad and i dont know why maybe syria 123 can tell us.anyway if muhannad gets voted off i will loose interest in the show

Ammar was fabulous in both songs especially Um Kolthoom’s. I like Mohanad in the first song. Ayman is so good in Abdel Wahab’s song. Hady was great in his second song. Brigite is not all that. and Ranim was only ok
I havent watched the episode yet . I was out but I,ll catch it tomorrow in the rerun . I only caught Ammar’s performance and he did a great job as usual . Im hearing Diana was extremely nice and very encouraging with the whole group so thats really great to know .
As for the results..I cant get to know anything seriously because they keep it extremely confidential . So I have no source close to that
. However . I do very much predict that Brigette will be out this week . If anyone else , seriously this will be some serious stupidness !
Niveen I must disagree with you…I thought that Ranim was much more than ok. I was very impressed with both of his performances….he was also so much fun to watch. He has such a great smile and seems like a total sweetheart. But we both agree that Hady was AWESOME in his second song. Did anyone notice that he was so into the song that he didn’t even smile…something he always does lol. Ruby I am praying that your predictions are right and that Bridgette really is next…no offense to her fans, but everyone else really did better. I’m just always scared for Muhannad because of his bad luck. We’ll wait and see.

first, i must agree with almost all of u that this episode was SUPER! they all did great - except for brig. she wasn’t tooooo bad but bad enough to leave this week. good job ayman for a WONDERFUL performance…i was scared that he might be next to leave but after today, he proved to us that he should stay. second, there really shouldn’t be any arguements about ammar and muhannad because they are both great and hopefully be the top 2. Ranim was also fabulous today with both of his songs. okay it was overall a good episode but i have to say the departure of hussam was really was obvious for the anticipation that i always feel waiting for his nxt brilliant performance was not present nor was that thing that he does with his voice! this episode made me realize how much i truly miss Hussam Madaniya!! damn that guys voice and confident charicteristic has such an impact on you …he would have been the ideal superstar!!! any ways i talked soo much and he isnt even in the competition!!:) anyways ammars first song was okay the second was fabulous! ranim made me feel good on the inside because of his inner warmth! i dunno i cant seem to like ayman he seems to fake and bayikh!(if that makes

I loved muhannad so much, i loved ayman’s performance of “yamsafer wa7dak” and hadi”ra7 7alfak” and oh ranim was awesome with”min gheir leh” and this one made me cry. I believe today they were all talented. Diana’s presence added some zest, she was really nice.
You know, this was my favorite episode so ever. I loved all the songs, they gave me this warm feelings of the old loving songs that we don’t listen to these days. This time i loved all the contestants, i felt they showed and gave all what they have from talents and onwards. It was amazing how they were themselves. I believe they all performed great, the songs were not easy, don’t forget.
pls 7abibti Aman don’t get mad at me, respect and love to all hussam M. fans, i felt the show was smoother without Hussam being in it(no offense pls), i felt that all of them are so cute,they were singing calmly without any irritation.

ok Hannah and Lulu, and I guess Kitkat needs translation too. basically the article said that some people complaint about having some problems when trying to vote for Ammar Hassan last week using the phone, it gave a story of a lady from Emirates who tried 3 or four times and the system did not allow her ,she gets “invalid choice” message. Basically the author is wondering if anything is set up to keep Ammar away from winning like what happened to Melhem Zein last year.

And for those talking about the phone problem with voting for Ammar, I really don’t know any facts, but I can’t believe it. Ammar has never been in danger, if there was voting problems why is he still safe. And if there is phone problems wouldn’t everyone be affected not just Ammar. Inshallah Muhannad is safe today guys.

If you want a clean place though… there is a great place in tysons corner… the owner’s name is Maher… a great guy (i think he is palestinian). he has the best sheesha if you smoke. anyway, he didn’t have a tv when i was there about one year ago, but he was planning to have one. the place is called something lebanon near TGIF on 123.

Hey all! I could not be any more mad that Muhannad was kicked off the show. The show has become total crap and a complete joke. I just want to say bye to all of you and thanks for all the good discussions and postings…it was fun. But I’m not going to watch the show anymore because the show without Muhannad is like hacing judges without Elias Rahbani. There is no talent on the show without Muhannad. So this was my last episode..it’s been good. Thanks guys. I’ll always love Muhannad and will support him and can’t wait for his CD! Best of luck to Ranim and Hady!
RIDICULOUS!!!! This show continues to sicken me. I propose that Future TV pull this show from its network. I don’t care if its #1 in the Arab world, nor would I care if it were #1 in the whole world, I think they should end this show just to punish the idiots who couldn’t recognize good singers for who they were, and instead voted for nationality. Those people should be ashamed.

Abbood, Ghada, Aman, King 7ashash, Firas, Ahmad, etc. I just finished watching the results episode and truly and honestly and whole heartedly I’m sad beyond belief. An amazing talent, Mohannad Mishalla7 is leaving us today. I’m depressed not because he is not going be crowned superstar, we all can agree that Mohannad will enjoy considerable success in the near future, I’m sad because the viewing public has robbed us from enjoying his voice and performances in the finals. I can not wait until Mohannad’s album is out, an amazing talent and a class act.

i just wanted to say again that i was sad to see mohannad leave and that he will hopefully get a record deal and succeed in his music.
oh and marmaritaa in my opinion i think that ammar should be #1 not last b/c he has true talent.(thats what i think so plz dont get mad) and in ammars second performance how ellias reacted that was b/c ammar was singing an um kolthom song. and when he sang a um kothom song he did that b/c he tried to really get in the song and here it carefully in his head. um they call it something special but i dont know b/c thats what they do with um kulthom when she sings.

i was really shocked to see Muhannad out..it’s not his turn at all..Maybe bcoz Syrians are voting for Hadi,,Lebanese for Brigitte and Egyptians for Ranim,,and so on so the least votings were for Muhannad..Since this is happening,,i guess the superstar will be Ranim,,coz don’t forget that population plays a big part in the votings,,just want to remind u in something happened lately..whoever watched Star Academy can tell the difference..remember at the end when the competition was between Bashar and Mohd Atiya,,although all the Gulf region were with Bashar but at the end Mohd Atiya won..coz population wise Egypt is the most country with the biggest population..That wouldn’t bother me if Ranim won coz he has a nice voice and nice feelings..
I’m afraid that Ammar would leave us next due to the votings we’re getting..
Anyway,,i expect the result to be:
1. Ammar
2. Ranim
3. Hadi
4. Ayman
5. Brigitte

oceaneyes, i agree that egyptians voted so much for mohamad atya but this was in staracademy. People in egypt, as i mentioned before, aren’t interested that much in superstar.
As for the arrangement you made, i hope that ranim will be in the final 2 but i don’t think that ayman is gonna leave forth..mark my words, he’s gonna stay in this program and i wouldn’t be surprised if i saw him in the final 2

I think Ranim is the real deal , he is a super star. He has the whole package,voice , musical knowledge, Personality, intellegence and of course the looks. He also can sing in different Arabic dillects. Egyptian record companies should take him more serious than that , and More people should vote for him .

This weeks episode was really good. I got so mad when Hadi was voted out, I was hoping the competition will be between him and Ammar. But it was cute how he was happy that he got out, anynoe else would have been crying. I wish him and his brother Shadi all the luck. They are so cute. How old are they anyways?

ok so i just started watching superstar this year, cause before we never had the dish, and i used to think whats all the fuss about…i guess now i know, you really get into it.
i started watching it cause my friends were saying theres a libyan guy on the show so i decided to check it out and see how good this person is…but unfortunatley he didnt stand out to me as much as Raneem Qutait…MASHALLAH he is definitley the full package…too bad he went out. i also fell in love with Muhanad Meshala7 and 7osam Al-Shami and Hady Aswad.
