Future Arab SuperStarThe results of the voting for yesterday’s episode of SuperStar were just announced. And man were they a shock.
The following candidates were called into the danger zone:
- Housam Madaniyyeh - Syria
- Muhannad Mshallah - Syria
- Abd El Rahman Mohamed - KSA
- Abeer Ni’meh - Lebanon
That is just unbelievable!
The candidates who had to leave were:
- Abd El Rahman Mohamed - KSA
- Abeer Ni’meh - Lebanon
I was sure Abd El Rahman would be leaving, and Abeer was one of the people I expected could go too even thought I believe she deserves to stay.
But I never expected to see Housam Madaniyyeh and Muhannad Mshallah called into the danger zone. These 2 guys rock big time.
It’s a shame to see Abd El Rahman and Abeer leave us. I truly wish them the very best of luck with their musical careers, they deserve all the success.

Oh yah.. how shocking was it when Hussam.M got called on to the danger zone as well as Muhanad. 4 a moment there it appeared that Hussam was gonna leave. I really thought that Hussam’s performance was very good this week and Muhand was exceptional. What happened there in the results is to basically tell ppl to vote more for them.

.. its not gonna be the same without her.. & Muhannad & Hussam in danger !!!this is unreal.. maybe people are thinking they have to vote for the ones who should be kicked off & not who they think should be superstar.. if either one is kicked off before the final episode im gonna quit watching.. +even abd el rahman should have not been kicked off before ranim & brigite& hadi..
+ i have a question .. what is the big deal about Muhannad singing 3aloush song???.. i dont get it
+ i thought Muhannad sang sooo beautifully Sunday (as usual)…big deal about accent.. i cant wait to download his song
+i never realized before that hadi has a lisp or a retainer in his mouth or something..not that it matters.. but i just never noticed before

I am not sure if relying 100% on listeners calls to make superstars is a good idea, because in the last 10-20 years the Arabic music singers and listeners are going downhill in quality or in substance.
In the current days, all what you need to be a singer is: a nice look and a “well connected” producer to make you a “Superstar”.
If the callers were relying on their musical ears instead of “country or region or family ties”, the outcome would have been different.
Who would put Mouhanad in a danger zone after his superb performances with “Emta al zamain” or “derghali”? Or Housam performance with “Gatalouni 3eyouna al soud”?
Who would keep Brigitte, Hadi or Ayman and let go of Mouhamad Dawood or Abeer?
Definitely not the current callers!!!
Till the music slump ends, expect a lot more surprises.
Hey everyone! I love the comments and completely agree with you guys, I could not believe that Houssam and Mohanned were almost voted off today, it was ridiculous and truly proves the horrible taste Arabs have in music lately. Just turning on the TV to watch music videos proves that. I love Mohanned and I completely agree with you Lylani, I don’t see the big deal about Mohanned singing Aloush. And when he sang EmtaAlZamen…it was absolutely beautiful, I fell in love with it. This is a lesson to show us that we have to keep voting for these guys and never let this happen again!!!!
I hated the results, great voices like Abeer, Mohannad and Hussam getting so poor voting, while there are ones among the others who are good but worse than them stay with not the least danger!! This is pathetic. I agree with Oussama, one should not rely on the listeners anymore…
Mohannad danger, hosam danger, abeer OUT That is unbeliavable! Well ok maybe abeer doesnt sing khaleeji good but its not like if she won that she would sing khaleeji for life!
Hey guys! Did anyone see Abir and AbdelRahman on TV today after theyb were kicked off? Wow..Abir is so good it really is ridiculous she was voted off and I have a new respect for AbdelRahman. He was such a good sport and gracious about getting kicked off. I love how he always sings wattani songs too, that’s really great. I really hope we never see Mohanned and Houssam in danger of getting kicked off again, but it might happen if we don’t keep voting!

For those who don’t know who the heck is A.K. just recall “Onadeekom” from late 70’s or more easier his work with Future including “La3younak” and other ads for future channel ..the funny ones 
and last but not least his work on super star “Roo7 il maghna”, and “ghanno ma3na” … I feel I am not being fair enough to this great master .. so just visit his website to get better hints than mine lol

A little off the topic here .. it just came to me attention that Ahmad Kaabour will be singing on stage for the first time in ages .. Future will be showing it of course ..he is their man

Kaabour is really one of few “moltazim” singers who made the cause of people his own, sang for freedom, kids, social problems,etc. and stayed on this track since he started in the late 70’s .. no wonder we don’t see much of him on tv

It was really sad to see Abir leave. She has a beautiful voice. Wish her all the best, and abdl-rahman also.
Also, I can’t believe that the Syrians are the best in this competition. Husam Madania is very talented and passionate about singing. He is confident and not arrogant in my opinion. He smiles when nervous and has trouble expressing himself. It’s not arrogance at all!
Hadi Aswad has a nice voice, but still needs more focus to continue improving his voice and style in general. Other than that, he’s adorable!
Muhannad Meshala7 is a true entertainer and has both great personality and good voice too.
Ammar Hassan is good as well, however,he screams at times and might be best at aghani wataniyeh. He did not do well in the khaleeji song… it sounded like he’s going to war not singing about love. Missing some feelings for sure!
All the others are good (some better than others), but my top favorites are either listed above or have already lost in past episodes.
Finally, remember this is a competition, a show, to discover and strengthen performance talents…
and that rude comments only come from ignorant people.

Hey Guys as you may have read we in Australia have lost our supplier to the Duture network. In the meantime is there someone or somewhere where the clips of each singer can be seen. I know the odolonline site has the mp3 but what about the avi clip of the singers and the last 2 minutes of the one leaving announced. Any help from you guys will be appreciated. I know many are waiting for your reply and help.

So for you guys in Australia, just go to the site and register for an account and you just have to pay 10 dollars a month to watch future tv. Ma32ool? Abeer leaves and ayman al a3tar is still in it??? Abed leaved the khaleegy episode (how ironic). Ok, mind you I can see where houssam might have been in the danger zone, (his song barley sounded khaleejy). But this is a question to all you music fans and cirtics, when voting each episode, do you vote based on how the contestants did that particular episode, or do you vote based on how they have done all along up to that episode? since I see alot of complaints about how people are voting, do you vote for lets say ammar because palestinian (even though I was convinced by him the minute he sang ya ibne mawal during the 2nd round. anyways another week has passed and were off to more suprises next week. whats the theme for next week?
I vote based on overrall performances, not just one episode. For example, Abir wasn’t that great also on the khaleejy episode but I def do not think that she should have been voted off. And I think that Houssam and Mohanned have always been consistent and done well, so my votes are always for them. We know Ammar is gonna stay on top and def win it, so at least keep the other good competitors in the game and vote for Houssam and Mohanned. I still CANT BELIEVE they were almost voted off, that is soooooo ridiculous!
Next week’s theme is the modern song ..and the guest is “Shereen ah ya lail” lol … just ALLAH YOSTOR
Ammar will sing Be7ibek wo beghar for Assi al hillani, also jeet be wa2tak la Melhim Barakat. I dont know what the other contestants have chosen, but I expect Mohannad, and Houssam to do extremly well. But can somebody please get hadi and ayman al a3tar off of there. These two guys are just there because of the teeny poppers. Now that the final four have lost a really important candidate (Abeer) can we say Ranim is the only valid replacement between all of them?

it was sad to loose Abeer from the quartet. I prefer to call it trio now (Ammar,Hussam,Muhannad)since the gap between them and the rest is obvious at least for me.But Yes I agree Ranim appears to be the best out of the rest of them wish them ALL Luck. how to vote someone out? well the rules of the program is to vote for people who are going to stay,so it might be hard,and I think we have to respect peopl’s choice althought I just don’t agree with results of that kind of voting,so far we’ve lost some of best people while other average still going. Maybe we can double the doze of voting to our favorites and give some extra support for the ones in danger,that might a little bit.

Yeah Kitkat, the song’s name is Ra7 wala Ghash. He wrote the song, and he is the composer too. I liked it though when I heard it, it sounds familiar.

Secondly, the only source for information about the songs our dear contestants are going to sing is basically watching Super Star News. You always ask us on the blog if whether we have watched the news or not and whether we know or not, and certainly we will pleasantly answer your questions and provide you with most (if not all) of the information you wanna know.

Yeah salma, I sent an email to Hussam a few days ago, but like you said, they’re probably too busy to respond. Who knows though, maybe they will? It would be really cool to actually hear from them. By the way, I heard Abir say something about that on TV the day after she lost. It happened when one guy called Abir from Washington DC and he said that he haid sent her emails in the past and Abir actually said that she REMEMBERED him, so maybe there’s still hope for those of us who send emails to the superstar contestants. Thank you for reminding us about jumptv. But I understand where Dana is coming from. We can’t watch this because of the time difference here. Its like the middle of the night when superstar comes on and watching on computer is not the same as TV or DVD. I guess it can be done but like Dana I guess we are asking that if someone has the facilities to put on DVD even if its only the song parts and the 2 minutes leading to the announcement of who is leaving.

Jo…you are exactly right. if we are to subscribe to Jump TV then we would have to wake up at 3:30AM!!! now i dont think anyone would be able to do that…people have work and school since it is the start of the week. so if you want our teachers and boss to be angry with us then Jump TV would be the answer. but if anyone has access to future TV then it would be greatly appeciated if the prime could be put on the website. listening to the voice alone isn’t enough…so if anyone can PLEASE upload the visual episode (ya3ni sawt o soora). thanks a lot
