Future Arab SuperStarLast night the results of the voting for the third prime shocked us.
Each new results episode brings with it more and more stress as the level goes higher and higher.
My expectations were mostly wrong, and I was caught by suprise by who was called into the danger zone.
Last night, the following candidates were called into the danger zone:
- Abeer Ni’meh - Lebanon
- Mustafa Shweikh - Egypt
- Ranim Quteit - Egypt
- Waad El Bahri - Syria
- Muhannad Mshallah - Syria
Now, that was mad.
Abeer, Waad and Muhannad are among the top 5 best voices on the show and seeing them in the danger zone is totally unfair and crazy.
I expected Mustafa to be in the danger zone, and so he was, so that came as no shock. But I never expected Ranim who sang well and who has a really nice and funny character to be in the danger zone.
But wait, there’s still more unfairness to come.
The 2 candidates who got the lowest votes and left the show yesterday were:
- Mustafa Shweikh - Egypt
- Waad El Bahri - Syria
Now again Mustafa was expected to leave, but Waad?!
Come on, she has one of the best voices on the show. Her voice is strong, pure and she can do whatever she wants with it.
All her performances have been great with zero flaws.
I can’t believe she left the show.
I just hope the fans of the show would actually listen well and vote for who is really best not for looks or whatever else they’re voting for.
Waad didn’t deserve to leave and Abeer and Muhannad didn’t deserve to even be close to the danger zone.
Anyway, starting next week, only one candidate will leave after each prime and famour arab artists will be guests on the show.
I also heard something about a possibility for the fans to choose what songs the candidates should sing.
Can’t wait for next sunday.

Hiiii Guys, yes its really shame, to see Wa3ed leave the programme. she was my world superstar. I think people understand Wa3ed wrongley from “superstar extra”, people think Wa3ed makes problems with other candidates, which is actually,wrong.Wa3ed in reallity, very calm and polite and cute person, I felt that from the first episode in second round I loved and still I love her and support her as much as I can. please, dont froget Wa3ed, this very rare and valuable voice.I hope that Abeer and Mohanned leave the programme,not because of their voices but thay hate Wa3ed soooooo much, especially Mohanned.

Haha Mustafa went!! That was no surprise but Wa’ad & Mohannad in the bad 5? NO NO NO That is so wrong inshallah! I too can not wait till next week and really hope that the viewing audience has enough sense to keep AMMAR HASSAN and Hussam Madanieh to the end, what a heavy weight bout will that be …. I think we will see something historic if the public voted the right people out. I love the voice of Mohannad Mushalla7 as well but would see him in third place after these two.
I totally agree that Waed was kicked off because that superstar extra episode made her look so bad. It was so unfair…they should not do programs like that and just focus negatively on one person. If people didn’t vote for her because of that…they’re stupid becayse the contest is for bset voice not personality. Waed you’re still the best and sing better than 90% of the remaining contestants!!!
personally, i didn t understand why you told some beautiful things about mostafa when he was on the third group whereas now you say he deseves to leave. other thing, you said that abir has a voice for opera only, and now you are saying that she is among the 5 best… i don t understand… i would also say that ranim didn t deserve to be at the danger zone, you must think about that…!!!!!!!!!!!
I think the first guest will be Kathim Al-Sahir. I saw few of them selecting Kathim songs. It will be a tough one for few of them. The selection of the song will be the determining factor. Everybody should be very careful to choose a song he/she is comfortable with. We know that they are all good, but from now on, we will know who is great.
I wish the program hosts the two legands, Saba7 Fakhri and Wade3 As-Safi….WOW, AMMAR, Mohannad and Hossam Madanieh will ROCK…Mil7em Barakat is another favorite guest. I personally could care less about singers like Amer Diab and Ragheb 3lameh….I mean come on we are so sick of their S___T. A new wave of really talented people are taking over.
Hopefully the reigning Super Star will be the first guest next week

the one who really deserve to go out of the program is brigitte because she has no voice. mohamed daoud is really better than her. she is still there only because her father is an singer in lebanon. whereas ranim, ammar, mohannad and perhaps abeer have wonderful voices. wa3d had a great voice put she made a lot of problems first with ammar, then with zahi and the last week with ranim. but personnaly, i don t believe the votes coz the results were unfair this week.

Dude… Ammar and Hussam Madaniyah should be in a different competition. They should be in a “who has a wider mouth” contest, because they are very good at that. Just check out how wide Ammar’s mouth gets when he sings. It gets so wide you can fit a camal in it. Hussam is not too far from him either. Maybe only a cow can fit in his mouth though. What these two do every week is shout rather than sing. Anyway, many people seem to like these two, so I don’t want to be so offensive
I personally prefer the relaxing and soothing voice of Abir.

Firas, wallah me too I was hoping that Ammar will sing for Saba7 Fakhri, he will do a wonderful job singing for this legand. I assume that Ammar has a game plan, he wants to show the many styles of songs he has perfected. Remember how great was the Abdul Mutalib song “ma bys2alshi 3alaya” that he sang. I just wish that Ammar continues strong and gets the support he deserves from all arabs and not just Palestinians. It is time that the arabic world gives birth to a Palestinian singer like Ammar….I’m excited and know that he will do a wonderful job tomorrow….AH YA AMMAR AH….

Hello, I would like to share my opinion. I saw your postings above, I agree with most of them. I think that all of the remaining candidates are good enough to be called “artists”, especially if you compare them to some of those who sing today. There are a few points that I’d like to discuss here, I will start by the voting system at superstar because it seems that this is one of the weak points in this program. The jury did their best to choose 83 acceptable candidates from all over the world, they presented them to the arab audience and asked them to vote for the best ones. I don’t have any negative comment on this step of the program, all what I can say is that they really worked hard and did a good job. But the problem is that our arab communities are not mature enough to take the role of the jury, as how they were not good enough in choosing their politicians. This was obvious last year when Nancy Zaabalawi and another girl from Jordan, her name was Maha… something , left the contest while others like Wael Mansour stayed. The Audience have disappointed us once again this year when a poor guy from Syria, called Ussama Nehmeh, another one who was more than excellent called Waad Bahri left early the competition. I would add also Ranim Shaar. It was a pity to see these guys leave early while for example Hussam Shami stayed. Yasmine Husseini was good too, but maybe she was not as good looking as Mustafa for example. So these people were the victims of our immaturity, and shortness of view. They did nothing wrong except trusting our judgement. Honestly speaking, do anyone have a doubt that Wael Mansour’s capabilities in singing were humble? I personally think that anyone from the general population can do better than him. The voters chose him because he was cute !! I think that he was lucky to leave the competition, because if he won, he would have become a very bad artist, same as many of those who sing nowadays, and he would have faced a lot of difficulties selling his CDs. Many of those who chose him, do admit that they only voted for him because he is handsome and cute, they thought that they were doing him a favour, but this was not true, I’m sure he is much better in many other things than singing, why convince him that his voice is enough to become a singer and make him become a looser in the future when he discovers that his CDs are not beeing sold. As they say in arabic “allah sataro”. I don’t believe that Bahri left because she got into a fight with Raneem. Are we here in a court or what? It’s none of our business to decide who’s right or wrong, they can solve their problems without our interference. Does it sound mature when someone who’s got a very nice voice leave the competition because of such a silly reason? Ussama Nehmeh, is a poor guy from syria, he is not handsome, I felt from his first appearance in the program that he belongs to a very humble social level. All what he’s got is his excellent voice. It seems that this wasn’t enough. Ranin Shaar, was excellent too. Ruwayda Atiyeh was about to leave last year because of something silly that she said and because people didn’t like her smile! I don’t believe this happened. It would be a better idea to let someone more professional than us participate in the vote, I would suggest that the jury’s opinion make 50% of the vote, because we prooved that we really need help in the way we choose. People who vote for a candidate who doesn’t deserve votes just take it as if they are beeing nice to this candidate, I would like them to think of what they are doing, in another way, “just think that you are doing harm to those who really deserve to be voted for”.
