Future Arab Superstar : Finals : Prime 1

Last night, the first episode of the final stage of the arab SuperStar started on Future TV.

And before I get into any further details, I have to say WOW. It rocked.

The set was really cool, different from the French show set, similar to the set of the German version of the show.

The 17 candidates opened up with a song called “Ghannou Ma’na” (Sing with us) which was really great. And then each candidate came out and sang a song on his own.
It was one hell of a show.
If anyone is interested in knowing what songs each candidate performed, let me know and I’ll post them.

My favourites were:
- Mohanad Mchallah - Syria
- Ammar Hassan - Palestine
- Houssam Madaniya - Syria
- Wa’ed El Bahri - Syria

Yep, the Syrians sure did very well last night.

I especially enjoyed Mohanad Mchallah’s rendition of “Alloush” yesterday, it was really great and got the audience going really well.
He has a really great voice and he performed the song better than it’s original singer.

People can vote up to tonight, and then the results will be announced and 2 of the candidates will have to leave.

It’ll be a shame to see any of these great voices leave, but that’s the game. I just hope they don’t give up hope and continue even after they leave because they’re a lot better than a bunch of the current singers in the market and truly deserve to reach stardom.

I’m looking forward to the results tonight and can’t wait for next sunday to watch another prime.

    It sure was a great show last night. Beautiful in everything. All voices were wonderful. God! It’s so hard to choose. I loved “Alloush” as well :) So excited to know who’ll stay, although I wish no one leaves. They’re so good.

    Hey Ruby I record Super Star onto DVD, i will put it on my PC today & then create mp3 files of all the songs from Sunday’s episode. :)

    I just need to know the names of the songs so i can name them properly. :)

    I am so sorry to see Yasmeen leave. She is sooo great and I really enjoyed listening to her. I hope stereo records will give us the chance to hear her voice again. Anyway, the songs are as follows:

    Two notes to ZlatkoT:

    1) plz plz plz try to upload Yasmeen’s song in the 2nd round (mab2ash ana — Asala). I hope you could email it to me if that’s possible also.

    2) you need to rearrange the list in the site. It goes like: 17-2=15-2=13-2=11-1=10-1=9…

    so 3 weeks of two eliminations and after that one only will be eliminated.

    I will have the others up as soon as I finish copying the DVD. I dont have Group 2/Round 2 on DVD or the Wildcards/Last Chance so is a bit hard! :( Maybe I can find something online for you!

    Thanks MMM for those names! Can you help me with the rest of the 2nd round because I have those ones too I will upload straight away. :)

    So will Diana, Melhem, Rouwayda or Saoud perform their new songs on Super Star sometime soon? It will be great to see them back. :)

    صحيح عمار صوته حلو بس مكرر ومش كتير نادر أو غريب بس ما بنكر انه صوته قوي وحلو بس للاسف مالو طلع هو سوبر ستار مثلا ما بعتقد انه راح يمثل العرب منيح في البوب إيدول لانه مع احترامي الشديد شكله مش سوبر ستار وصوته ما بنفع يغني غربي في السوبر ستار ضروري إلى جانب الصوت القوي طبعاً انه يكون الشخصية كمان مميزة وجذابة والصوت يقدر يغني كل الألوان بس عمار ما عنده هاي الصفات مع احترامي طبعاً لإلو ولصوته ولكل ياللي بيحبوه . بس هاي هي الحقيقة بعتقد اللي بنفع سوبر ستار وخصوصا بعدما ضلوا الاربعة الشباب بس بنحصر ما بين هادي وأيمن مع ان صوت عمار بالطرب أحلى بكتير من هادي بس مش احلى من أيمن بس شخصية هادي وحضوره أقوى من عمار وايمن الحقيقة مع انه كشكل مش حلو بس إله كاركتير كتير مميز وعالمي وبشهادة مدام فاديا حبيبتي قالت انه بقدر يغني غربي وشرقى وهدا هو المطلوب من سوبر ستار العرب مع احترامي الشديد لعمار من فلسطين الحبيبة

    ايمن وبس وحتشوفو ليبيا كيف لما توقف مع ابنائها هدا لان ايمن يستحق لانه صوت وادب واخلاص وطبيعي ومش زي التانيين اي انه مميز
