Both had great voices and deserved to win.
It was a shame that other great voices from last night’s episode didn’t pass.
Anyway, 3 of them got chosen by the jury to pass to the second chance episode next sunday.
These 3 are:
- Ridha Jaafar - Libya
- Ashraf El Kshou - Tunisia
- Shadha Hassoun - Iraq
Rahma Mezher from Iraq came in 3rd place and so she too will be in the second chance episode.
They also announced who else will be in the second chance episode. I’ll post that later.
Next sunday’s episode will be a strong one, because a lot of the people either came third or are great enough for the jury to give them another chance. I truly can’t wait.

I was a bit suprised by the results of the public voting last night. I had expected Rida to come top and for the Tunisian guy to be in the top 3. So it was a relief when Rahbani came on and gave them all another chance next week.
Next week is going to be very tough. I find this year’s second round to be really sad because so many deserve to be in the final (especially when you compare it to the level of last year’s finalists), and then most of them end up going home.
Yeah, me too. I expected it to be: Houssam Madanyeh, Rida Jaafer and then someone else.
I hoped the Tunisian would pass, but wasn’t sure he would. Simply because not much people are voting from Tunisia.
It’s great they got a second chance.
I hope they pass.
I was so sad for Rida when they announced the results, but I felt better when they gave him a second chance. And I agree that so many talents have been wasted. This year’s Super Star is much stronger than last year, and the coming episode will be very tough indeed.
