Today the second stage of the Arab SuperStar show started on Future TV.
In this level, every week, 14 of the 82 candidates come on and sing seperately with background music, and only 2 make it to the next stage based on the votes of the people who watch the show.
Today’s show was a really hard one because all the candidates had great voices and sang really well.
They all were really good and all deserve to pass, but my favourite was a Palestinian guy called Ammar Hassan.
His voice is really strong and yet smooth.
My vote goes to him.
I also liked a Syrian girl who’s called Wa’ad El Bahri who has a beautiful voice.
The one I liked the least was a Lebanese guy called Hady El Mallah. He’s good for singing at weddings and such occasions but not star material.
But then again that’s my own opinion.
Voting is open from now till tomorrow night. That’s when the 2 candidates who’ll be passing to the next stage will be announced.
I expect it to be a rather close competition.
I’ll blog the results tomorrow night as soon as I know them
