The New Tunisian 10 Dinar Coin

December 28, 2008 – 1:48 pm |

It seems we’ll be getting a new 10 Dinar coin in Tunisia, instead of the paper version we have now… as if money doesn’t already evaporate quickly enough out of our pockets, it should become even easier now.

    heh?!!! A 10 dinar COIN?????

A country where the minimum wage is barely 220 dinars and inflation is 5% cannot just issue notes of 20 and 30!

This is ludicrous. We are not Switzerland!

It could be just a memorial coin no more.

    I don’t understand…
the picture tells us that this coin is from 2005 ! (1987+18)!
Plus, every tunisian coin should have the central bank’s logo on it…
    I think it’s just rumors…

Here, MMM, we’re now financing our idiocy the way the Weimar Republic did theirs. Not only are we printing more and more dollars, we contract the printing of it to private firms whose compensation is partially a percentage of the amount of money that they print. What could be more rational?

Excuse me, I need a cognac.

    Cheers
