Heroes Nominated For Emmy Awards
Superhero drama "Heroes" has been nominated for Outstanding Drama Series at the 59th annual Primetime Emmys.
Additionally, "Heroes" star Masi Oka (Hiro Nakamura) has been nominated for an award for Supporting Actor in a Drama, and David Semel for the Directing for a Drama award.
Personally, I think they should win all three awards. Heroes is the best series among the ones nominated (“Boston Legal,” “Grey's Anatomy,” “House, MD," and “The Sopranos.”)
As for Masi Oka, he's a great actor, he does the role of my favourite Hero in the series, and he totally deserves the award.
As for directing, I believe it is well-deserved for "Heroes" as well.

Posted by: farah at July 23, 2007 08:51 AMHeroes was totally overlooked, which is ridiculous. I have watched all the other Drama nominations and winners over the years. This is certainly one of the most original series to come out. Lost was very good and has "lost" its impetus. Desperate Housewives was stupid. And Ugly Betty should have won for best comedy. The only one I thought was legit was Prime Suspect.
Otherwise, the awards were as appalling as were the idiotic, insipid TV guide commentators--god that woman who laughed like a horse constantly and had little to say that showed a modicum of intelligence.
Horray to Heroes--don't worry about the stupid awards!!
