Today's performances were not great overall and the Judges were a little rough on some contestants. Even though its still hard to guess who will go out next. Its easy to notice that not everyone is a superstar.

I think the following people are in the safe zone: Hatem Adar, Ayman Laseeq, Asma Othmani, Ibrahim 3abdel 3azeem, & Shahd Barmada.

I like most of the rest too, but they are in the danger zone for either not having enough votes or for having weaker live performances.

Personally, I think Hatem Adar is a pro and beyond Superstar. Ibrahim eL Hakami hes a great voice and sings awesome tarab but isn't good in singing his native tounge, khaleeji

I also agree wtih 3ammo as usual :D Many contestants were not so good including El Hakami one of my favourites, his voice is so addictive but the performance was lacking.

Difficult songs with various transpose, octave and tone levels. the ability of the siger to change the above with proper layering while the band plays was achived best by :

The rest of the singers have easy layering songs and/or couldn't achive the layering match while the band was playing.That is to say their singing , in many situations, didn't match with the Band while playing the song either due to wrong tone or other factors. I don't vote but play on 4 keyboards and make nice music, just opinion.

Results is not on today apparently because of the assasination of Gibran Twaini.

No there is no voting show today! Maybe tomorrow, but well can't be sure.

According to the announcement that was made in the news yesterday, voting will go on throughout the week.
So I guess the results will be announced just before the next prime or the next prime will be skipped and results announced next monday.

Man its been so long since i have been here, Here is the latest scoop on the results, Voting will go on all week, and the results will be announced on monday, there will be no prime on sunday out of respect from future televion for the death of Gibran tweeny. Having said that, there is a lot of oplitical clout adding to the support of Ahmad al faleh, if you go to vote online the cursor is automotically directed to his name (next to his picture) a cheap trick i think, since not alot of people remember (espciallly those who are voting with alot of email addresses) to actually click on the singer they are voting for.

Now as far as the quality of the contestants this year, I think that by far they are much better than last years, except for perhaps Ibrahiem from libya, who I do not think should even be allowed on stage, but thats a personal opinion..
