27/11/05 : Prime 1 : Finals : Future Arab SuperStar
The first prime of Arab SuperStar 3 on Future TV just ended, and it was a really good prime.
The prime kicked off with a tribute to the late Lebanese prime minister Rafik Hariri with a group song called "Laayounak Ghannayna", which was a really nice song, and very well performed.

My favourites from this episode were: Asma Ben Ahmed, Ayman Lseeg, Hatem Idar, Ahmad El Faleh and Asma Othmani.
Voting started from the beginning of the episode unlike the previous 2 years, which I personally think is a bit unfair.

A great surprise was to see our Tunisian friend and fellow blogger Zizou from Djerba in the audience waving the Tunisian flag and encouraging the Tunisian contestants.
SuperStar 2 stars Ayman El Aatar, Ammar Hassan, Hadi Aswad and Ranim Qotait will be the guests of the second prime next week.

Hatem, Ibrahim H & Ahmed were the best tonight I think, the stage looks weird haha! I don't like the way the mushtarkeen are introduced either, it was much better the first 2 years.

Its a little tough having a favorite to vote for. But I'll probably vote for those who are usually better than what they performed today.

ZlatkoT, I agree that the stage looked better in the previous years and that the contestant introduction was done better too.
3ammo, I know what you mean about how it would be so much easier to just vote for who you think should leave instead of who should stay as there are so many great talents.
It's really hard to choose who to vote for.
Like 3ammo says (sounds hilarious :P) it would've been easier to pick who should leave .. ok .. to make it short .. Hatem Idar, Yosra Hamzawi, Asma Bin Ahmad (truly performed a Fairuzian song in Kalthomic voice), Ayman Laseeq (sorry the white hair is annoying), and Ibrahim El Hakami are my top favorites ... Haitham Shomali, ibn baladna, has a great potential, and a voting edge just for being a Palestinian, he'd better not waste it by trying to copy Hussam Madanieh's persona .. just be yourself and you'll be fine ;) .. ok .. to the hard part .. who is going to leave .. My opinion, based solely on vocals, I would list the following:
1- Ahmad El Faleh (I still believe Yusuf Kazaz was vocally a much better rep for Iraq, but I guess, at least for the ladies, the looks is giving him a boost)
2- Ibrahim Abdel Azeem (sorry a guy with a voice of a lady doesn't make a good contestant for my ears)
3- Shahd Barmada (Don't get me wrong, the girl is very pretty, she fits my taste in beauty :P, but Syria, like Iraq, desreves a better rep)
Now, to my actual expectation, based on past years trends, ok, bil 3arabi, "National" STATISTICS :P most likely a Tunisian will leave us .. my hopes are that it will be "Asma Othmani" .. I really liked her voice .. but once again, doing the math, Tunisians will have to sacrifice one of their contestants in order to keep the best .. they need to realize this as early as possible, otherwise their efforts will get didvided and they will see none of their "homies" running for the title, just like what happenned to the Lebanies last year .. so watch out ;) .. pick one or two max .. and help them stay ... okay ..I know .. don't kick my butt .. I talk too much :P .. sorry .. I'll make it short next time .. I promise :D

I liked this showw.. but I think Ayman is gonna out. i dont like him a much. my favourites:
