Maria banned on Tunisian Radio?
I just read this bit of news on Al Bawaba that says:
Hussan made the announcement after Maria’s recent inappropriate display at her birthday party, dancing on top of her cake.
Maria was photographed dancing sensuously on her birthday cake while spreading the icing all over herself, wearing a provocative Barbie doll outfit.
Hussan explained the events of Maria’s party on air, and the station was suddenly swarmed with calls from listeners supporting his decision.
I'm not sure which radio station Mr. Taheri works at, as I don't really listen to radio that much; I usually have a stack of cds to listen to in my car, and only rarely listen to Mosaique FM.
Anyway, personally I'm not with or against his decision.
I personally don't like Maria, simply because her voice sucks, her songs are a mixture of nonsense lyrics and bad music, and her video clips are stupidly provocative.
If it were up to me, she wouldn't have ever been on radio or TV in the first place.

if u knew better, munir, u would know that lebanon has a lot more to offer than maria nad nancy ajram but that's what the only thing arab countries are asking for... and we have it all, from sly hot bitches to holy saints...

I love Maria. She is the best lebanese singer. She has some problems because the advisors she has suck. but she is the greatest.
