Feedback on Tunisian Wing at Jordan's Global Village

While doing one of my daily rounds between blogs yesterday, I came across the following on my friend Haitham's blog about his visit to the Global Village in Jordan, and the Tunisian wing there.

"...some of the participant countries didn't give it good attention. In fact, some countries wings are almost empty, like Tunisia. It’s empty of goods, and nothing to see."

It's really a shame to read something like that.

Tunisia usually does a really good job at international fairs, the latest ones in Japan and South Korea being a good example, so I wonder why we're not doing as good a job representing our country in this Global Village.

I think fairs and global villages like this are a great opportunity for us to teach more people about our beautiful country, expose them to our rich culture, market our traditional handicrafts and promote our breathtaking destinations to a big audience of potential tourists.

Jordan has become a major summer destination for gulf tourists over these past years, an audience Tunisia has been targetting more and more lately, so I think this is a great occasion to reach out to that audience and to an even greater Arab audience who visit or pass by Jordan during this period of the year.
