I Hate Summer

Man, do I hate summer!!
Even though I love the sea more than the fish do, and can’t wait for the chance to go swimming, I just despise summer.

I’m certainly more of a winter person.
At least in winter, when you get cold, you just keep piling on the warm clothes and blankets. In summer, you keep taking off everything until you’re naked and there’s nothing left to take off, but still you’re dying from the heat.

This summer looks like it’ll be a damn hot one in Tunisia. I’m already suffering.
Shifted to my urgent todo list is buying an air conditioner for the living room, we can’t spend another summer stuck in the ac cooled bedroom ๐Ÿ˜›

  1. It’s raining here since yesterday (thunder storms). We had two hot day, and now back to pullovers. That’s german weather ๐Ÿ™ But I agree, it’s much better for work.
An air conditioner is a MUST HAVE in Tunisia, if you can afford it!!

  2. I agree. Work in summer sucks big time.

Flipping weather sucks too. It gets on my nerves.

My favourite time of the year is definitely spring time.

  3. I kindof like summer here despite it is very hot and very humid on the coast. My favourite season remains fall, the seawater is still very warm, and the air outside feels fresh compared to summer. Worst time is when the Hamsin comes, that I hate.

After living in countries where the sky was grey and rainy for 9 months I started to appreciate the sun, even too much of it.

PS: I started to enjoy swimming in the sea 2 months ago even so people around me think that 20 degres is super cold I still think it s warm enough.

  4. I’m a spring and autumn person ๐Ÿ™‚

But today I was just so excited cuz for the first time in as far as I remember it rains in Jordan IN MAY!! and I’m not talking a few raindrops… it was pouring! Just in time to preserve the beautiful spring green a bit longer ๐Ÿ™‚ me happy!!

  5. Fefe, I understand what you mean about enjoying the sun, even if it’s too much ๐Ÿ™‚
You also reminded me of the tourists who come to Tunisia and are walking around in summer clothers, swimming and what not, while we’re still in winter gear, lol…

Jenn, should I consider that a formal invitation? ๐Ÿ˜›
I’d really like to visit the US for tourism one day, a lot of nice places to go to.

Lina, I prefer spring to autumn although the weather is somehow alike, it’s just that autumn is so dull and depressing sometimes, especially the light.
Btw, it rained here yesterday too, so it’s cooled down a bit, but I know the heat’ll be back with a vengeance, lol.

Orange from middle earth, yes I know it’s winter there, but you’re in the end of the world. By the time I travel all across the globe to get to New Zealand, it’ll be summer there again ๐Ÿ˜›
