After the First Tunisian Blogger Meetup

We just got home from the first Tunisian Blogger Meetup at Biwa in Les Berges du Lac.

It was a lot of fun and really cool to meet all the bloggers who came. We really wished everyone else could have come too and we remembered the bloggers outside Tunisia too. I hope next time more people will come, including our expats, and we’ll have more fun.

We were 16 all in all, a lot more than I expected to show up. So that’s really great ๐Ÿ™‚
The following blogs were represented today: Mouse Hunter, Pens

  1. Congrats on a good meeting!

We have ours every month on a set date (was first wed now its first thursday) that way it is easier to remember and it is good for us to touch base and get out of the house once a month.

  2. it was a very pleasent meeting. I really enjoyed meeting you guys !! thank you for the technical advices for the nice time i had !
i hope to see you soon …
PS : i tried not to be very enthusiastic in my blog : it was done on purpose

  3. Nibaq, Thanks ๐Ÿ™‚
Hopefully, we too will get to that point where we have a set day every month for the meetup. We tested the waters with this one and it was great ๐Ÿ™‚

Zied, We wish you were here too, as well as all the other bloggers inside and outside of Tunisia.

Zizou from Djerba, It was really nice meeting you too. A lot of fun. And if you need any help with your blog, don’t hesitate to ask ๐Ÿ™‚

    Emna, ya3teek el sahha ๐Ÿ™‚
We wished you were with us too.

As for photos, well some photos were taken, but not everyone wants their photo published. So I guess we’ll have to check with who wants their photo online and who doesn’t before publishing anything.

K-pax, your comment is appearing. Maybe you didn’t see it because the page got cached in your browser.
Try checking it out again. You’ll find it ๐Ÿ™‚

    Haitham, Thanks ๐Ÿ™‚
    That would be great.
I hope we’ll meet one day, whether it’s in Tunisia, Jordan, Bahrain or wherever else in this world.

  4. It was really great meeting everybody. I enjoyed it so much. I was afraid that since we don’t know each other we’ll end up in a boring meetup. But it was completely the opposite. It was fun, we really laughed a lot and talked about many many topics. And we were A LOT! ๐Ÿ™‚ that was the greatest part. And unlike I expected, I didn’t have problem understanding all that French spoken in the meetup… yippiee, my French is improving, there were points when I went like: “What the hell was that?” but I’d ask and follow up ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hope to meet all other Tunisian bloggers who couldn’t make it this time. Specially you lady bloggers ๐Ÿ˜‰

Haitham, wish to meet you too one day, you’ll love Tunisia ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. I agree with you Eman. I too was afraid it’d be a bit awkward, and that we wouldn’t find that much to talk about, but it was the complete opposite. It was really fun and we didn’t stop talking.

Tunisiana, hopefully you’ll be able to make it to the next meetup ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. Thank you Subzeroblue for your nice initiative, although we had to leave early but we enjoyed the little time we spent with all the Tunisian bloggers ๐Ÿ™‚

Jihene, we wished you were there too. We were expecting you to come.
We should organize more of these. I’ll start contacting you guys soon to organize the May meetup ๐Ÿ™‚

You’re welcome “The Soft”. It was great meeting you ๐Ÿ™‚

    Karim, I totally agree.
It’s great to meet all these Tunisian bloggers. I remember a couple of years ago, we were the only 2 Tunisians blogging from inside Tunisia, and before us Houssein was the only Tunisia blogger period.

  9. Evil Drako, we will do it again ๐Ÿ™‚
Expect an email from me soon to start organizing for the May meetup ๐Ÿ˜‰

Emna, I wish we get to meet you someday when you visit Tunisia ๐Ÿ™‚

Adib, You’re welcome. Thank you for coming. It was really great meeting you.
