What A Wonderful World

I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.

I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.

The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shaking hands saying how do you do
They’re really saying I love you.

I hear babies crying, I watch them grow
They’ll learn much more than I’ll never know
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
Yes I think to myself what a wonderful world.

What A Wonderful World
Louis Armstrong

I just love this song!

  1. Michael Moore has forever tainted me with the song. ๐Ÿ™

I used to really like it, but when I heard it the other day on the radio, my mind was immediately reminded me of his movie and the part where he played this song. That sucks. :-/

  2. I see what you mean Jenn. I hope you’ll be able to enjoy it again soon without linking it to the Michael Moore movie. It’s a beautiful song.

  3. سلام
    أغنية جميلة اداء ولحنا
ما يثيرني فيها كذلك الطريقة التي يؤديها بها لويس امسترونغ خاصة تلك الابتسامة التي لا تفارقه شفاهه

  4. looking for a version of this song that is being used in a commercial it has a kind of reggae /island feel any info would be helpful

  5. I am with Rob. I am looking for a version of this song that is played on several commercials. It does have a Raggae feel to it. The beginning has the guy singing just an “oooo…ooooo” and so forth. I absolutely love this version. It is now being played on a Hallmark mothers day commercial. The mom is sitting with her kids on the couch looking at old cards……PLEASE HELP!!.. Thanks..:)

  6. I found it!! The Reggae version…It is sung by:

Israel Kamakawiwo`ole The album is called Facing Future and the title of the song is:

Somewhere over the rainbow/What a wonderful world.

    Woohoo!! ๐Ÿ™‚

  7. Yeah it is beautiful! Yet I do not think that you can call it a Reggea version! He is Hawaiian to the bone! Atleast he was untill 1997… His music lives on in many hearts… His album “Facing Future has sold the most records in all Hawaiian history! Pick it up… You will fall asleep to it every night and wake up feeling like you took a journey into his native world. If you can not afford a plane ticket to Hawaii, you can still go by closing your eyes and listening to his soulful voice. I hope you enjoy!
