Maroon 5: Songs About Jane

One of the albums I’ve been pretty much addicted to recently is Songs About Jane by Maroon 5. It’s a great and fun album from the opening note to the very end.

It’s hard to choose any song or two as the highlights of the album because each song is beautiful in it’s own right from “This Love” to “She Will Be Loved” to “Sunday Morning” to “Sweetest Goodbye”, this album simply rocks!

Maroon 5 are certainly the best pop/rock band out there in the music scene today and their debut album is one of the best albums I’ve heard this year.

I also watched them perform Live on MTV at the European Music Awards, and they were great, they rocked the place with a cool rendition of “This Love”.

I’m quite sure that if they go on like this and stick to the great music-making talent they’ve displayed on this album, they’ll become a really big international act soon enough.

My advice, get the album Songs About Jane right now. You won’t regret it, I’m sure.

  1. “She will be loved” is a very nice song. That’s the only song I know by Maroon 5. I think I’m gonna get the album;-) Thanks for the recommendation;-)

  2. Get Duran Duran’s “Astronaut”.
Their latest album which was only released last month.

Once you spin it a few times, you are hooked!
The kind of albums that you can’t switch from its mood quickly, therefore, you play it over and over again.

Several tracks on it obviously stand out, and the rest are just plain good! No fillers.

  3. Ok, will sure do Saqf ๐Ÿ™‚

I sort of trust your musical taste, although you have some weird inclinations sometimes,

  4. Hmmm, haven’t heard that one, but out of the other stuff I heard by her, when Saqf played all her albums out loud in the office, the only thing I actually liked was “Oh So Quiet” which is a cover I think.

Anyway, regarding your first comment, you’re welcome for the recommendation.
If you do buy the album, I hope you like it and enjoy it ๐Ÿ™‚
If you liked “She will be loved”, I think you’ll like the rest of the album too.

  5. Maroon 5 ” Songs abt Jane” is a good album hands down ! There is this new band that I’m starting to like too, “Yellowcards”.. good stuff

  6. Hey! I think Maroon 5 is from the Bay Area (which is where I’m from) and our radio station used to promote them a lot before they were popular. Well… now that they’re popular, the radio station says that the band kinda let show biz get to their heads. Apparently, one of the producers brought a bunch of bottled water for them in a bucket full of ice. Upon seeing that, the band demanded room temperature water, so he had to go out and buy some more bottled water. Well… By the end of the night, they didn’t drink one drop of the room temperatured water. haha! The radio station has made it quite clear on air how they felt about that. haha! I couldn’t stop laughing.

  7. Oh and by the way, I dig their music too. The lead singer is SoOoOOoOo HOT! You know what I mean, MMM? ๐Ÿ˜›

  8. lol…

yeah, I know what you mean Jenn.
Although, as a straight guy, I don’t really find myself attracted to anything but his voice ๐Ÿ˜›

  9. i liked this band til i saw them live and they went on about how london were the best fans around etc this was the best gig they’d ever played, then waiting outside for half an hour afterwards to ask them to sign autographs to the reply of ‘i can’t’ and then to be told i had an attitude problem when i asked the tossers why
