Lucky Days
Now, this is really nice. It seems these days are lucky days for us :)
Saturday night, on our way home from my parents' place, we suddenly felt like going for a drink at some café, and my wife suggested Miami, not the US Miami, our Miami. It's an area full of cafés and restaurants in Les Berges du Lac overlooking the lake of Tunis. It's actually called Miami after the name of the first café that opened there.
So we went there and as we were sipping away at our lemonade and Boga (Tunisian sprite-like soft drink), this guy approached us and told us that he worked for Mosaique FM (the first private radio station in Tunisia) and that we had won a dinner for two at the Bora Bora Beach Club in the 5 stars Le Palace hotel in Gammarth.
He dialled the radio station, put me on air, they told me what I won again, congratulated me and went off to the news.
Nice and very welcome surprise :)
Today, the Royal Jordanian airlines called and told me that they found places for us on the flight we wanted to go on to Jordan even though they told us that all their flights were full in that period when we went to them on Saturday.
Now, that's nice as it means our plans won't have to be changed.
And my wife just called telling me that we'd be getting free tickets for the Amr Diab concert, in the front rows too ;)
Her boss is getting tickets for himself, his family and some clients and he said he'd get us tickets too :)
Cool, huh?
Especially that we were already planning to go to that concert :P
My wife just called again telling me some IT training company just called and offered her a free training course on whatever she chooses. Nice.
So it seems these days are our days of chance. Hopefully this will go on :)
I'm truly enjoying it :)
