US Radio: “U.S. Muslims, kill them !”

[More: CAIR, American Values]

This simply echos my thoughts in my previous post.
When is anyone going to deal with these Anti-Islamic and Anti-Arab sentiments and remarks?

One thing’s for sure; If they were Anti-semitic ones, this guy would have been wiped off the face of the earth.

  1. What a prick! He’s encouraging HATE on the radio and should definitely be ousted!

But I would like to pose a question to you (or anyone else who would like to answer this question).

It is true that there has been many terror attacks and most all are Muslim extremists. Now without going into the details of whether their reasons are justified or if they were provoked, do you think that Muslims should somehow come together and speak out saying, “We’re not all terrorist! We’re Muslims and we are absolutely against these acts of terror!” I think that saying this would help the community’s distrust for the Islamic community, don’t you think? But there has been a lot of arguments from Muslims saying that there’s no reason for them to say any of that because in a way, it somehow shows that they’re guilty of something. But… That I can understand too, I guess. But putting pride aside, don’t you think that this one act would help the image the community has of the Islamic religion rather than harm it? It’s a discussion that my boyfriend and I had awhile ago and it would be nice to hear your perspective of it.

  2. Well, that has been said and done, not once but every single time there is an attack.

Every single time, all muslim countries and groups come out and say that it’s wrong and that these acts have nothing to do with Islam.

But who cares and who’s listening?

  3. Have there been gatherings in France? That’s pretty much the reason why I asked because there was a discussion about it on the radio and a lot of French Muslims didn’t think it was a good idea.

I remember when I was in America, there were many gatherings of Muslims who said that they do not support these acts of terror and when other Americans saw this, a lot of people (including myself) joined them saying that we support the Muslim community. Personally I thought it was a great idea and a great way to bring diverse people together supporting peace and unity.

  4. Yes that’s true, Muslims speak up for Islam all the time, and even the most religious (called Shioukh in Arabic) talk about Islam’s point of view in killing innocent people and try to make it clear to the whole world that Islam is a religion of peace. But just like MMM said, no one listens. When someone blows up a place “in the name of Islam” media spreads the news in a sec., but when Muslims try to defend their religion no one gives a damn. Only yesterday Queen Rania of Jordan was leading a huge demonstration against Terrorism with more than 40,000 Jordanians and Palestinians participating. They burnt the pictures of Terrorists and sang for peace, they tried to reach the whole world to say: Muslims Are NOT Terrorists. Only few have heard of the demonstration. You can find details here, but unfortunately only in Arabic coz no one gives a damn about spreading such helpful news: http://www.aljazeera.net/news/arabic/2004/4/4-29-15.htm And this is just one little example for what Arabs and Muslims do to defend themselves. In Blogs, Homepages, TV Channels, there are always Arabs who are trying to shout out loud: WE ARE NOT TERRORISTS. But unless the world gives us a chance, there is no use.

  5. I’ll try to keep an eye out on this kind of information and will try to spread the word to what few people who reads my blogs. If you can, post this stuff, and I’ll pass on the message. ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks for the info guys.

  6. But I would like to pose a question to Jenn

It is true that there has been many terror attacks and most all are US soldiers in muslim countries and especially by supporting Israelis in their assassinations and ethnic cleansing of the poor and defenceless palestinian people.
Now without going into the details of whether their reasons are justified, do you think that US should somehow come together and speak out saying, “We’re not all uncivilized and brutal colonizers! We’re Americans and we are absolutely against these acts of terror!” I think that saying this would help the Country’s distrust for the American people, don’t you think?… etc…etc…

  7. Pfft! If I can only find more than 10 (Non-Muslim) Americans who care. It’s truly unfortunate, but true. For the most part, Americans do not concern themselves with politics and let the politicians make the decisions for them. If they were to even vote, they’d vote for the most charming politician who gives the most promises, and then leave it up to him, not really minding if he kept his word on anything he said he’d do.

The only gatherings I see are within each university where specific clubs would organize it. But of course the media doesn’t show up to any them. ๐Ÿ™ In any case, you’re right that Americans should come together and stand up against the violence, but the reality is, Americans don’t care what other people think about them very much. They have this complex where they think they are the world’s savior and that their politicians are always doing what’s best. And if you were to ever approach an American and tell them that they’re paying for the bullets that are being shot at the Palestinian children, they’ll take great offense to it and call you “unpatriotic”. This all stems from stupid patriotism that is taught to you since you started elementary school and it just got increasingly worse since 9/11. But that’s not the point. There are some Americans that are making efforts to learn about this conflict, but it’s difficult to convince an ultra-patriotic America that the US has ever done anything that wasn’t to make the world a better place. It’s disturbing and needs to change, I know.

I’m not sure if I sensed some offense in the question, so I should apologize if you guys thought I was an ignorant American asking such an arrogant question. You have to remember that I’m not Arab, nor know anyone who is Arab. I can really only learn about what’s going on by reading the news and we all know that the media isn’t that great with being objective. This website and a few others are my sources of getting a perspective from real Muslims. So stupid questions will continually be asked from this stupid American, but at least I want to know, no? Let me know if you would prefer for me to only read these posts and not talk too much, and I will respect that. But honestly, I don’t mind getting put in my place when I need to be. It helps me learn and that’s why I’m here.

  8. No need to apologize for anything Jenn ๐Ÿ™‚
You can ask whatever you want whenever you want ๐Ÿ™‚

I think that Mohsan just wanted to show that the same question applies to the US too.

  9. the downfall of america is its unholly association with israel. I am not Muslim. I am Christian. I came to the internet trying to understand why there is a war between the Muslims and the Christians. After many nights of reading, i came to understand that this war was planned and shoved down our throats by jews and zionists who live amongst us and are loyal only to their zionist agenda. I heard a jew once say that the overriding issue for him is always Israel. no matter what’s the state of affair in the us, israel is always number one for the jews in this country. they hate americans and soon we will be bancrupted by jews. our economy and our military is made to serve their ungodly attacks against your country and your religion. if most christians understand what jews stand for, they will rise up in masses and throw them out of the face of this planet. i had a conversation once with the minister in my church, he told me that jews are jesus people and we are grafted on their tree and we need to respect them. i did plenty of research and i can tell you that christ was never a jew neither we are grafted on any tree. Judaism is a peculiar religion built on the theory of master race and racism. they believe that they are God’s chosen people. most people think that judaism is a monotheistic religion; this is or course false, judaism is the denial of one universal God. the Levites of judah asked,”who is like unto thee, O lord, AMONG THE GODS?”
America will suffer and its end is near because we are not learning from the history other people who supprted the jews agaisnt others. we are marked for destruction because we are supporting the jew abomination. we should heed the call of of christ and the warning of prophets of the past. ironically, in our time the Muslims seem to be that voice.

    god bless
