Fish are friends not food !

PETA (People of the Ethical Treatment of Animals) have won permission from Disney to adapt a film poster for Finding Nemo to help promote vegetarianism to youngsters.

The slogan “Fish are friends not food !” is being used everywhere, even on Finding Nemo pyjamas.

Well, i truly wish them good luck in this campaign, but i can’t help it, i’d rather eat a fish than talk to it :P

    great poster and a very nice slogan, although i believe fish is devided into: friends and food, there are kinds to eat and others to watch and care for.So i’m not completely with the campaign, but i’m with organized fishing that enables us to eat fish without putting their existence in danger.

    i bet this slogan should help next time I try to convince the shark not to eat me :) LOL.

    Great campaign though. I eat fish at really rare occasions. Almost never. And I hate to see them in a tank. Fish belong to open seas. Like a bird belongs to the sky.

    If more people considered the words of Pythagoras, Albert Einstien, Leonard de Vinci and more recently the actions of the late, great Spike Milligan surely no person on this planet would eat another sentient being given an alternative. Think before you eat. Meat IS Murder.

    I go fishing all the time n i love to cook the lil fish till they fry and then eat them, they taste really good, n you should try it!

    I am a vegetarian also! Fish should be free to roam the ocean! They are not food! Like Franz Kafka said: “Now I can look at you in piece… I don’t eat you anymore”.
