Carthage Land
Yesterday, we finally got to go and check out Carthage Land, the all new and very first theme park in Tunisia, built in the great touristic station of Yasmine Hammamet.
It was really cool and fun, we enjoyed it very much :)
The games and rides are cool, and the atmosphere is great. A very good inititiative from the Poulina Group.
My only advice to anyone is not to go there on a weekend afternoon, especially that these are it's first weeks, choose some other day when the park is emptier and you can enjoy it more ;)
I can't wait for the médina project, a full recreation of an old Tunisian médina right next to Carthage Land, to be finished and launched, it looks amazing and so real.
Viva Carthago - Les Naufragés de Carthage
Holy Land, Holy Blood
Jazz à Carthage 2006
Les Cendres De Carthage (Abdelaziz Belkhodja)
Fish Museum Aquarium - CarthageThat seems to be very cool.
Next summer may be i'll got the opportunity to visit it :)
I shall visit this theme park in the coming weeks I have been to Tunisia & Sousse for 9 times but have never stayed in Hammement so maybe this time i"ll try something new and stay there

Posted by: Christine Ellul Bonici at January 28, 2004 04:37 PMWell, i hope all of you have fun when you visit it :)
According to what i know, i think Carthage Land stays open throughout the year, so you'll find it open whenever you come.
Tickets cost 15 Tunisian Dinars (13 US$) and they're valid for a whole day, so you can go on any ride as many times as you wish.
Posted by: MMM at January 28, 2004 04:49 PMThanks for giving me the prices can you tell me some hotels near to the funpark or does it have its on hotel?
Posted by: Christine Ellul Bonici at January 29, 2004 01:41 PMYou're welcome :)
Well right next to Carthage Land, there's the Médina Mediterranea which is a great new tourist attraction. It's a whole re-incarnation of an old Tunisian médina (town) and it's beautiful.
It has lodging possibilities too.
Otherwise, Carthage Land is situated in Yasmine Hammamet, a great touristic station, and there are so many hotels surrounding it.
Some that come to mind are: Holiday Inn Resort, Intercontinental, Sol Melia EL Mouradi, Lella Beya, Karthago, ...etc.
A search in google should give you an even bigger list.
My family and I have been to Tunisia 5 times but never in Hammamet. Now I saw an advert about Sun Garden Hotel, Is this near by the thame park?
